Michigan's paint defense is a crime against humanity. What does Beilein see in these big men with no technical ability or athletic ability? Keep recruiting Europeans Beilein bc the American kids you recruited are questionable at best at the moment.

It's like someone keeps their nutsacks under lock and key but let's them borrow them on occasion.  Have played so tough at times, but then will play like old women the next.  Incredibly frustrating

That stretch with Teske in there was fucking infuriating. A Beilein team getting abused in the paint, been seeing this crap for a decade. Oh, and what a completely useless freshman class he recruited. Tesek, Davis, and Watson contribute absolutely nothing to this team and Simpson only plays because Walton can't play 40 minutes every night.

That he made me actually forget about Irvin.  Until he went out and Irvin put up another brick.  I think we will win this game.  Can't bring Teske back in, he single handedly switched the game back to Wisconsin.  And I know Irvin finally made a jumper but can't let him shoot anything but layups.  Even when Walton is off, I still want him to shoot because he's not scared like Irvin.  But Mo can can't carry the team.  We need DJ to step up.  Robinson did his part in the first half.

We just can't have these stupid lapses with unforced turnovers and we take this game.

GO BLUE!!

I don't feel that bad. Michigan's starters have a total of 3 fouls. I don't like the autobench policy either. HOWEVER . . . in the 2nd half, I think that Wilson and Wagner can play much more aggressive defense against Happ. Wilson has no fouls, and Wagner has one. It would be hard for either to foul out in a full half.

I also wonder if Happ will be a bit gassed in the 2nd half. If Wilson, Wagner, and Irvin all collapse on Happ, make it hard for him to get the ball, force the rest of Wisconsin to shoot, it could be a very good thing. With only being down one point, Michigan has a full half for a statement win against the team currently in the lead in the Big 10.

Regarding Irvin, he is what he is at this point. However, 2 of 5 isn't as bad as he's been. As Coach Beilein has said, he is close to coming out of his shooting funk.

And there is a very clear reason that Teske hasn't seen the floor a whole lot. Beilein has done as much as he can do with the raw material with have on hand. Recruiting is hard work.
