Solomon/247 CB Update

Perusing 247 and saw JC Shurburtt just CB'd Solomon to Alabama. Obviously not great, but should be noted that while Shurburtt is a well-regarded insider, his accuracy rating is only 59%.

I continue to say that we shouldn't be focusing completely on Alabama/Michigan. Watch out for USC.

I have said it, but then i just saw a more credible source than myself, Steve Wilffong, echo something similar. I'm not saying that he's going blue, i'm just not saying that I am completely sold yet that he is going to bama. Southern California is always a nice place to hang out for 3 (or 4) years while in college.

You will be living in one of the best college towns in America in one of the prettier states in the country..also no charge. You want great coaches?... we have them also. You want great facilities? Check. Best stadium in college football...No problem. Passionate, knowledgeable and loyal fans...We have those too. All we need from you is a commitment to be the best. The best version of Aubrey Solomon there can be. After four years...You will look back on your decision and realize it was a sound one and know that you have joined an elite group that has spanned over a century of time...All proud Michigan Men. Believe it or not, there are an abundance of women on UofM's campus..We have all four seasons..So we appreciate our warm weather that much more as Michiganders. Also, I contend that the money will be all you ever need....Once you develop into a high draft pick under Harbaugh and company and sign that deal... Integrity intact. Some things in life are priceless..

Let's be honest. Aubrey Solomon is the most important recruit in this class. More so than Willie Gay. Just don't want those "Oh wasn't good" comments if he goes to another school.

He's gone. He's been gone for weeks. The kid came right out and said Alabama is his leader. By not a huge margin, granted, but a considerable one. About as crystal clear as it gets.

No hard feelings whatsoever if he goes to Alabama. His life and his choice. But while I'll be the first to admit I'm one of the biggest cynics on this board, I don't think any of us should get our hopes up.

You have made almost this exact same post in the last three threads about Solomon. And as I said on your other ones, you are incorrect. Every insider on every website thinks he is a Michigan lean right now. They obviously know a lot more than you do, so If it was as crystal clear as you are making it seem, they wouldn't think that Michigan leads.
