OSU vs. Nebraska Thread

I know there's a night game thread, but since OSU seems to be our last real chance of losing before the B1G championship (knock wood), I think they deserve their own. OSU 7-3. I think this one will be an OSU "Tressell Game," wearing Nebraska out on the ground...

Braska was overrated imo.lets see how consistent the osu offense is the next 2 weeks before we start beating our chests. You must be a youngin' because as an old salt I never under estimate um. Even with hokes weakest teams they always play osu tough. Not smart going on uour rivals board beating your chest after beating a less talented team @ home, especially after losing their QB.

Washington is looking pretty good against a capable Cal team... Not great, but they probably go bowling. They pour it on and I can't see them not being in the top 4 after last week's snub and this late into the season. Plus, OSU's performance is impressive, taking nothing away from them... But Nebraska's "do everything" QB got taken out on a stretcher with a whole half to play. I have a feeling the final score would've been at least a few scores more respectable had that not happened.

I was hoping that the young Buckeyes wouldn't figure out how to really win until after we played them... their second team is probably better than half of the FBS' starters.. Fuck them

Let's see... Michigan has a better offense and defense than osu. We have a better team than anybody we have left to play in my opinion so why should we lose. Maybe we do and maybe we don't but we definitely should not. Period. I see a lot of nervous nellies on here and for what reason. We absolutely destroyed a team who beat osu. Championship game  Who?.  Alabama cannot throw the ball at all. I think the writer in L.a. is right and will be proven so. I also feel for gabuckeye comments...after next year speight is a first round pick. J.t. farrett will not play in the nfl.

but how do you figure that we have a better O and D than OSU? I compared our rosters player by player this evening and it seems as if OSU may have the edge (talent wise) across the board. the wild card is coaching, but meyer is as good as anyone in the country, so to assume that "we're better" just because of our previous blowouts of middling teams may be kind of stupid. We're in for a dog fight in Columbus with a team that's likely more talented than ours - But younger by a long shot. So if we're going to knock them off this is the year to do so.

was at Oregon vs. USC game where Ron Johnson ran for about 10 yds a carry vs. Oregon.  Felt bad for Brady, as it was not much of a game either.  Oregon did not look good on either side of the ball.  Thought Nebraska was overrated, especially when undefeated, but 62-3 is a shocking loss that sounds like pure humiliation.  Did Nebraska just get exposed as a very weak team, or was OSU tremendous tonight?

"Nebraska is hot garbage...": If they were legit hot garbage, does that mean everybody ranked lower than them—including #15 Colorado—is even worse?

"This team still lost to crappy PSU" : So our victory over PSU doesn't mean much then.

"Hopefully that team shows up to play us.": Go ahead and bet your kid's college $ on that.

one of the things that will always make me feel good - regardless of score - is that we have a really kickass color scheme and uniforms while OSU is stuck with perhaps the worst of both among college football powerhouse programs.

Red and gray..a great combination according to..no-one. Who wants to be gray? It's boring, it's the color of dullness. It doesn't contrast well with anything. They should have bitten the bullet and gone for 'silver' as their official 2nd color but nope, lame 'scarlet and gray' it is.
