Ummmm because he is Hoke and he sucked, just sayin. Why would he only put out 10 on special teams? The guy was clueless, "Michigan Man" or not. I wouldn't be the least bit supposed if Peppers could have played 75% of the season. Why did Hoke do a lot of things?

I agree. He already tore his ACL once. I hate to lose him but I can't fault anyone for taking the guaranteed money. I can only hope that he remains involved in the university a la Woodson. Maybe the reception Woodson got at the Hawaii game made an impact.

Not new thread worthy and I know it's common knowledge, but holy shit Joey Galloway is a moron. On college football countdown he keeps saying for every team, "they didn't do anything special last year" so that naturally means they can't be good this year. Not just for UM so trying to keep my homerism in check but man, what a douche. Obviously means he's a terrible analyst and can only judge based on past results. SMH

it seemed like the team and coaches came into that game with the mentality of not getting hurt and really not prioritizing the game at all. if that team wasn't coached by Hoke we could've given Bama a game at least. Desmond couldn't have foreseen us rolling the fuck over like that.

Only if they don't listen to what he says. Desmond is possibly the smartest and best spoken of the former athletes turned tv personality. That's not the homer in me either, C Webb is a taller Joey Galloway but with a better smile
