Speight is our QB

Submitted by umbig11 on
Speight has been given the keys to the car. As many of you already know, I have been a staunch supporter of JO'K and have a personal bias for reasons that I won't go into here. Anyway, I have it in writing from a respected writer in the business. I will release that next Saturday and give him full credit. Bottom line, Wilton has earned it and he will be our QB. I have a ton of respect for the way he has earned the right to lead this team! Go blue!

Ok, well I saw Speight (holy shit, my autocorrect knows Speight) come in after Jake took some dingers, and after practicing with the 2's, stand tall, be competent, take care of the ball, and even throw a few nice strikes. Oh, and this was before he had a whole off-season to prep and compete in Jim Harbaugh's system. I'm not worried. I'm excited. Go Wilt Go!

You were probably Trick or Treating during the Minny game, so missed Speight rally us to a late 4Q win on the road.

So there's that...

I still say both will play and eventually O'Korn's feet will win him the job by game 7. Too many tough road games in the home stretch, need that QB running threat

He did make a huge 3rd down TD throw, but I don't think that's a determining sample size.

Fall camp under the eyes and guidance of Harbaugh, however, is the key sample.  If he won it, congrats to him.  Mobility is certainly an asset, but Dan Marino & Bernie Kosar did OK without it.

So much bullshit. If you're right...you get to flaunt it that you're right. If you're wrong, you create another user ID and people will forget you even existed 2 weeks from now. There's nothing to lose with this post. Provide some proof to back up what you're saying. It's not even that far fetched. You could very well be credible but the way you've presented it is complete bullshit.

Your mom's head game is bullshit...but I let her get after it anyway. Okay. Jokes. Don't get so offended. Just present your inside info in a more credible way next time. You can act all soft about it if you want...but your post was Grade A bullshit in how it was presented even if it happens to be true. All you have to do is explain your connection to a source OR tell how you received the information OR talk about how you could obtain such information. You just stated something and expected people to believe you. Again I kinda do believe you. But that doesn't excuse how you presented this in your OP.

You don't get it. I trust you. As WD said...You've proven yourself to those of us that know who you are (not personally but in terms of credibility) I'm saying your OP could be presented better. Does that hurt your feelings or something? Hell I'm the one giving an opinion. You're the one with (at least what I believe) fact.

What is your deal? I really wish I could keep negging all of your childish comments in this thread, you're making a real ass of yourself. He doesn't have to provide you with any proof, or how he knows these things. Jesus, man.

Yeah, can you like, totally out yourself and how you have access to this privileged information just so I can feel better about being wrong? Kthxbai

Not at all...but I think even the OP would agree that comparing him to Sam is a bit much. But I won't let that fact get in the way of being ignorant to what you were trying to say. But your analogy is off...because if the OP gave a gut feeling, he'd get destroyed. Sam, not so much because he's earned that. And I belive the OP even said his gut was O'Korn.

I don't think anyone but a mod would get a pass for throwing out a gut feeling on this topic. But I could be wrong...that's not what happened so no need to discuss. And like I said...his gut feeling was O'Korn as he says...so that's probably not the best idea anyway. Kind of proves my point actually.

I'm being serious...not even from me? Did you start here 3/2016? If so that explains why. I'll top this in a month...don't be alarmed. If I feel strongly about something. I'll speak up. I try not to be overly disrespectul though because I appreciate the dialogue (clearly).

Not really. I actually thought he was somehow tied to the athletics department because of the NIKE stuff. I wish we had people with sources. I don't pay for M content and look how much I'm on here, lol If there is anyone who wishes this board was full of credible inside info it's me. Because I don't get it elsewhere. Man it got so bad last week that I almost thought about trying to link up with WD (who I've never spoken to a day in my life) just to get some news. Because I believe he subscribes to the pay sites. So I def don't knock the inside info...I just prefer it presented in a manner that doesn't instantly cause anyone who doesn't know the source to go "yea right." If I wasn't on the board all summer I wouldn't believe a word because of how it's worded. But as we all know...I'm always around so I've seen him be right on more than one occasion. I just don't think you take something where you have a 50-50 shot at being correct and present it like that. It sets a bad example because any troll could make that OP. If the troll is right...he's a god. Wrong and he just changes to another username.

As another poster said...I don't think there is a "proper" way. I just think there is a way that better describes your connection to the info or defines your credibility or provides a little insight on how you obtained the info. I think you can do at least one of those without staying who you are, what you do, or specifically how you know what you know.
