"Six Michigan state employees were charged Friday for their role in the Flint water crisis, bringing the total of employees charged of contamination of Flint’s water supply to nine.
Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette, a Republican, filed charges against three employees of the state’s Department of Health and Human Services and three others from the state Department of Environmental Quality."

MOD EDIT - while it is significant local news to those of us in southeastern Michigan as well as the Flint area, this thread kind of went down the road of....yeah. - LSA
When is Snyder going to be charged?

trying too hard.
if your codes come in any other color. Just saying.
You must know by now that politicians don't get charged for things...
I love the shape of that wing...
Who was before him?
-H ignored increasing security at Bengazi and americans died. Should she be criminally liable?
And it came from militia leaders who also wished for a KFC and McDonald's to be built in the region. People can argue what could be expected within 48 hours, but I don't know if anyone could make a reasonable argument that anyone should be criminally liable.
In this situation, you apparently have people that tried to cover up the lead issue. They should be criminally charged. Snyder shouldn't be charged unless it's discovered that he tried to cover something up or knew that the water system was tainted and they should not switch over to begin with.

Oh oh a gop member with an email issue. I bet the GOP will kick up a fuss. Snyder deserves to be in a prison cell.
What's interesting is that my wife got me into the practice years ago of holding onto emails in case I ever have a dispute with a client, credit card company, etc.
I guess there's another reason to add.
Not for that.
Other things... probably.
Perhaps because a city in Michigan was poisoned by its water supply.
And also please be less bad at thinking.
...but man, I hate dealing with numbskulls. As much as I don't like topics that can get too political here, they still end up more civil than anywhere else with a comments section.
Also, you may want to look at the long term affects of lead poisoning on children. Not to dismiss the loss of a youth organization, but that does not cause psychological and developmental defects in children.
Wow. That's all I got.
That's fuckin' sick, bruh.

OF poisoning with enthusiasm unknown to flintkind.
"At this point, what difference does it make?"

It wasn't the switch itself, it was that the city/DEQ didn't bother to test and treat the water with an anti-corrosive agent. It would've made the switch a non issue.
If what you're suggesting is true though, every leader everywhere should be fired when they sign off on something that turns out bad.
Every president ever would have been fired dozens of times by that logic.
