From the outside looking in, it's reasonable to believe we could be that much better. ESPN usually just looks at who's returning and how much progress was made from the previous year. We return everyone who started once LeVert went down. We went from 16-16 to 23-13 (albeit an ugly and maybe misleading 23-13). And let's not act like the rest of the Big Ten did much better in recruiting in 2016 outside of MSU PSU and maybe Indiana. It will be a summer of major attrition for the Big Ten too

It's a bit of a shame that Yale supposedly couldn't be bothered to come back in its role as the upset-minded #12 seed and that the NCAA Selection Committee had to go for Princeton at the 11th hour as the Ivy League replacement.

Also, look out for Vermont, man. I hear they matchup pretty well in a purely speculative sense against Michigan State.

Why Lunardi even bothers with these is beyond me.

Michigan Football faces a difficult path to their twelvth consecutive title in 2027-- taking on the Longhorns in Austin in the season-opener, and then welcoming the Irish to the Big House the following week in primetime for the 50th all-time meeting in the storied rivalry.

Asked if the team will be hungry and ready to compete when the season begins, head coach Jim Harbaugh said something awesome about steaks, submarines, bastions of hope, and meritocracy.

QB play will largely determine our season.

Obviously its not that simple. But, I doubt we will get late-season Rudock level preformance.

Easy to forget how fast Rudock was.  Makes every other QB on our roster look stone-footed.

The guy who gets paid the most to do this and arguably probably spends the most time doing it...isn't even very good at it.

BracketMatrix had him finishing something like 72/144 this year.  Talk about perfectly average!
