Hammons, Haas, and Swanigan combined for 1 offensive rebound between them.  They grabbed 13 rebounds total.  Walton, LeVert (in limited minutes), and MAAR grabbed 16 (MAAR had 3 offensive boards on his own).

Great dirty work from Irvin and the bigs and fantastic effort from the guards to attack and secure the ball.

I will admit that I did not wake up this morning terribly confident about this one, hoping only that Purdue would remember that they are - at the end of the day - Purdue, or that they would channel Purdue football's current karma. Needless to say, when I was standing in the doorway of my in-law's house (I watched the entire second half in my coat, having originally only gone to get the kids), I was very pleased with the outcome. Great, great win today.

I didn't get to watch the game, but I assume Beilein was fired right after the game because we were blown out by 30?

This win was so huge for us. Had a feeling from the beginning the game would come down to free throws. And sure enough free throws win another basketball game not to mention our defense stepping up big down the stretch.

Talk about needing a big win over a quality opponent. Extra sweet after they dominated us last time. Ok, please bang me now, I'm done. Go Blue!!!

I was out, so I couldn't watch the game. Every comment I saw made it sound like we were getting blown out. Then all of a sudden, we won.

You guys are bright rays of sunshine, I'll tell ya.

I think Dakich showed some real leadership and confidence in publicly admitting that this team did not give the energy it needed, but that the fans will not see a lack of energy at home the rest of the season.

I think we won today because of that energy. I wonder if Dakich is becoming one of the leaders of the team?

Also, Walton down the stretch after such a poor first 38 minutes! Bang you, brother!

Just got back from the game. That team showed some real guts today, what a scrappy win. Call it stealing one if you want, but they looked like they wanted it more. BANG!
