Yeah, Irvin playing his way into form and Donnal suddenly having confidence to finish at the rim and be a rebounding presence are the two really positive developments.  If he could play his way to like, 75% of senior Jordan Morgan we could at least make like a Sweet Sixteen run.

Put actual Jordan Morgan on this team and we're legit good.

many entreaties were made in this living room.

Awesome win, let's hope something to build on.

When we gave up the easy basket on the 4 second possession, when Irvin missed the front end, I was freaking dying.

Walton finally looked like Walton. I could have sworn he was injured. He's still missing around the hoop, which means something is just off about him, because he used to never miss those in the past. Either way, he balled out like a mofo tonight.

Donnal's miss on the back end may have almost helped - they had a stupid possession hunting for a 3, and Sulaimon tried to do too much, which was not an unlikely outcome once he had the ball.

Hope this builds up our kids.

That Purdue game was a six point game mostly, we just crumbled once the game slipped away from us.

I don't know about you all, but I suffer like you can't believe during these games.

Prayers fucking answered

Daniel Bryan's YES YES YES had nothing on me tonight.

Fuck YAS

Gotta give Beilein a lot of credit. To go from where we were at the start of the year to beating a top 3 team without Levert is amazing. I for one am very optimistic for the rest of the season.

Walton played awesome down the stretch but he made quite a few bad plays tonight.  Gotta shore those up.  And Zach DIDN'T have many of those tonight, thankfully.  Keep that up, keep Robinson shooting like a G, Walton play like he did the final 5 minutes (and rebound like he always just does), rebound well like we seemingly did tonight, and we can at times overcome the deficiencies down low (and I'll acquire the faith once again).

I don't know why this team struggles in bringing the energy at times, but when they do and hit the three ball they can play with anybody.  I felt a bit down that they didn't put Maryland away earlier, but Maryland has no quit in them.  God knows how hurt LeVert is, but this team can be special if he comes back.

Why can't everyone respect the opponent like that?

It's just ridiculous that it's so hard to give that kind of press conference for some.

If it ain't gonna be us, I hope it's them.

let's just say some folks still pining for Chris Lowery and never got over it.

Not that I don't get some of the frustrations. I mean, sometimes I want to drop everything else in my life and go help that man recruit, lol

Our guys played with a lot of hustle. They fouh for every loose ball and won often enough for us to win. We played scrappy defense and it paid off in the end. If we can win a couple more upsets, a big ten title is not out of the question.

So can everyone agree that Donnal is legit? I was a little iffy after the Illinois game but now 3 out of 4 games he's played tremendous. Big game in Iowa city coming up next. GO BLUE!

I personally felt he was pretty good against Purdue as well.  I know it didn't necessarily show up in the stats (got a foul on a sequence I blame Dakich for) , but if you watch him, you can see that he has started to figure things out and he gets "it" now.

He is battling and grinding.  That is a Big Ten player sir.

On that last play, he kept enough depth and got a hand (used his length) in the face to make that shot as difficult as possible.

but I didn't like what I heard about Caris on the Big Ten Finale.

Coach B referring to the team now having had time to learn how to play without him and Zak referring to Caris and Spike together.

Please, Lord, let this not be a long term thing.

(and on the other hand, a quick trip around the twitters, the most recent stuff looks hopeful - hope I was just misreading the tea leaves)

What a game! I was on the edge of my seat down the stretch, but that was the most fun game I've watched in a while from these guys.

I feel like I should know this and maybe it will come to me later.. anywhere I can find the game online, or anybody know when it might re-air on BTN? I didn't record it, and my brother needs to see this.

edit: I just set the DVR for the condensed 60 minnute game they replay tomorrow. But if I can get the full thing, please let me know. Thanks.
