Sam Webb on Bush and Walker.....

Submitted by MichiganAlum2014 on

So Sam Webb did an update around 11:35 tonight on Scout.com and his gut still thinks Michigan leads for Bush and that Michigan lands him from his sources very close to the situation. When it comes to Walker though, he thinks FSU has really closed the gap and he cant put a gut feeling on that call, though he still thinks Michigan leads for Walker too. Needless to say, these next two days are going to give me extreme anxiety. Here's to hoping we get both!! Fingers crossed!

Devin Bush most recent follow is Jim Leavitt. Rumored to be a candidate for DC. Also Michigan recruiting coordinator tweeted this a couple of days ago:

"For those keeping score at home, that's a clean sweep for SoFLA

Just have a difficult time seeing UM administration allowing Leavitt here with the issues he had in the past.

I thought I read those 3 were going to visit to CO on an official but their playoff run caused them to cancel.  It did seem like a weird visit but that probably explains the follow.

Brewster posted it on Dec 3rd on that link.

Michigan commits/targets visiting Colorado

Michigan commits Devin Gil and Josh Mettelus, along with top linebacker target Devin Bush Jr, plan to officially visit Colorado this..

I think this comment is way off. First of all, the tweet says, "Big S/O to my boy in Jersey!! The Sunshine State calling your name!" So while it's almost certainly directed at Walker, I don't think it's fair to say it's "welcoming him to the sunshine state." It sounds more like a plea to me. Second point I wanted to make is that the crystal ball situation still looks great for us. 4/5 of the FSU top predictors are still picking Michigan... and the other one has ASU.

Unless Brewster knows something that no one has caught on to yet, we look to be in good position.

I'm not knocking people who live in Florida.  It's just a boring, overpopulated state.  Out west you can get the 80 degrees and golf, ski and surf in the same day.  Not to mention there are vast wilderness areas, deserts and national parks.  Florida just can't offer the same active lifestyle.

nobody in Florida leads an active lifestyle. We all just sit inside and get fat. Considering we can be outside in the sun more than 300 days per year with countless ways to keep your body moving, I would say you are dead wrong. This isn't your grandfather's Buick.

is proof you no nothing of Florida. Miami is a shithole other than downtown and out on South Beach, with way too much traffic and tourists. Naples, Sarasota, Bradenton, Fort Myers, Clearwater Beach, Jupiter, Ft. Lauderdale, and Key West are all nicer places to visit and live in than Miami, unless you're a 20-something that wants to go clubbing on South Beach, of which I can't blame you for saying "Miami is pretty cool".

It is pretty nice there.  And so are the Keys.  Ft. Myers is boring as hell and Clearwater is infested with cult members (nice beach though IIRC).

I've been to Florida many times.  Maybe I'm biased against because on every trip the state has tried to kill me or my wife.

Last trip we all got norovirus.  Spent the entire vacation in the bathroom.  The trip before that the pollen count was so high that my wife had to be rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night because she couldn't breathe.  Of course the hospital was out of network so that cost me like 2k.

I'm glad you like living in Florida, but I hate it.  On the bright side for you, I'll never set foot there again.

In central Florida I've never seen a single snake, let alone a giant one outside. There are alligator signs up at the parks and I've seen three or four swimming in the lakes there over the past five years, but other than that you don't see them in everyday life unless you live in a fucking hut in the Everglades. It's not like either have anything to do with daily life whatsoever.

And I went to school in Michigan for undergrad and stayed for year round. The weather is better down here for people from the south, the women are hotter.

Also, if you throw out your trash and wash your dishes you won't have bugs. There was a bat in my house at Michigan, worse than any bug I've ever seen.

I noticed midwesterners seem to not be able to handle humidity heh, but I love it.

For the record, I'm not comparing Florida to Michigan. I'm comparing it to desirable places to live. And before all the Michigan people get up in arms - I think Michigan is great but people aren't exactly flocking there. A couple things - you like humidity? That's seems like a lie. And you're telling me there aren't mosquitos in Florida?
