Corley and Hill will commit on same day

Per both of their Twitter pages, 2016 prospect Donnie Corley and Lavert Hill will be committing on the same day. Corley is pushing back his initial announcement date of December 8. Corley's tweet: https://twitter.com/hit_squad9/status/673985335249018880 I'm not sure how often this is done by HS teammates. I would wonder how often it's done by teammates if they're announcing for different schools. As much as a sure thing Hill has been talked about for Michigan, it would be interesting to see them commit to UM/MSU since that seems where Corley is headed. This would be a fun ceremony to watch, if they do one (provided at least one of them goes Blue).

Lavert Hill's brother plays for Michigan. He decommitted from Penn State after a visit with Michigan's coaches. I volunteer Ace (since he is local-famous) to eat lemons till he dies if Hill doesn't go to Michigan.

We really have to stop letting middle schoolers create threads. This place has completely gone into the shitter. It used to be an informed group of people talking sports. Now it's total nonsense

Seems simple to me. Why play for D' Antoni when you could play for Harbaugh? Harbaugh = NFL. Plus you're not stuck in the cow pastures of Lansing for 3 years.

"Me and Donnie would like to play with each other in college," Hill told The Michigan Insider's Josh Newkirk. "Me and him talk about it mostly every day."

This comes from an Allen Trieu article written back in the summer. Seems like they wouldn't announce together if they weren't going to the same school, but who knows with kids these days...

does make it likely that they are committing to the same school, some of these guys just want to be the smartest person in the room and say it means nothing. Either State or UM is going to be very happy. State's success this year along with Durkin's departure could indicate State, Michigan's improved passing offense and the ability for Corley to star at Michigan could indicate he is going Blue and Hill could really like the development of Lewis and Peppers.

Seems possible that their school could have asked them to do this if they're doing this at the school. You can imagine that having two separate events (especially if people are attending) is logistically harder than having one.

If Corley was going Green, he would have announced already.  The fact that he keeps delaying is a good sign.  I can easily see both of them in Ann Arbor...another step toward re-establishing control of the state.

He's been spending a lot of time standing right next to Brandon Peters today/yesterday...

If I had to guess I'd say Purdue.

But seriously do we need more WR's in this class?  We already have two + 3.14.

Isn't Hill planning to announce at the AA game? If they're both planning to announce then, they could announce on the same day but have unrelated announcements.

247 reporting that MSU has made up a lot of ground with Hill and they still lead by a lot for Corley.  Not good for us, I still think we get Hill, but it's closer to 50/50 now.
