Don't you think you were a little hard on the Beaver?  The passing game was not good it is true.  I think this was a short game plan built to win by a lot but not to embarrass anyone. Lowers risk of injury gets the bench in the game, may help this year but will help next year.

This could be a decent team if they had a QB.  Crazy that Morris can't get in with all these damn int's.

Count me in for wanting to see more TY.

NIce to see the reverse to Chesson.  Want to see him with the ball.

were 16/29 55%, 136 yds, 1 td, 3 int

Rudock was 14/22 64%, 123 yds, 1 td, 1 int.

Add in Speight and it's 14/25 56%

Meaning?

Both were uninspiring offensive displays by Big Ten teams.

I'm not happy, but I'm not freaking out. Rudock hasn't been good (26.5 adjusted QBR today...yikes), but this is a power run offense. They were able to get 254 yards on the ground (6.5 YPC), against a team that gives up 229 yards and 5.15 YPC coming into the game. Isaac and Johnson showed they should be getting a majority of the carries. As for Rudock, keep the routes short and high percentage passes. Maybe throw in some play action.

Wouldn't be shocked to see a new QB next week once Harbaugh watches this film. When he benched Alex Smith for Kaepernick people thought he was crazy (which, yeah). Kaepernick took that 49ers team to the Super Bowl. Harbaugh is not afraid to make a major switch at QB. Sure Rudock might be a great practice player but we now know he's not a "gamer." Harbaugh gave him a shot to prove it and he's failed.

One comment that I can't back with actual evidence - I sort of wonder whether today was a "test drive" for some of our explosive plays.  I can't help but notice that there was consistency without explosion against OSU, and explosion without consistency today.  I also have the piece of supporting data from some of the player and coaching interviews available on Webb's show on WTKA; numerous mentions were made of developing and practicing new schemes to increase IsoPPP-style explosive plays.

I liked our O today - besides Ruddock. After today - JH for sure knows we need a better Qb to win key games this year. He will be coaching up other guys heavy this week I bet

I think Harbaugh's prioritizing changing the culture, making a soft team tough. This is why Smith and Rudock are perfect: when you try really hard but can't get more than few yards on any play, every play counts. Every series takes three plays, every drive takes twelve, so every play counts. Ty Isaac makes linemen soft because it only takes one well blocked play to end the drive.

Talking about! Isaac is the best RB on our roster. The kid has the most talent of any of the 4. He is stronger, smarter, and he his vision is better then all 3 other RB combined. He sees the wholes opening and closing faster then any of the RB we have. He makes our O Line better because he can make chicken salad out of chicken shit of the play breaks down! You know nothing about football. Sorry but your way off

It again. We are better w Isaac at RB. This guy is naturally gifted and he sees the holes so much better then Smith. Isaac and Green should be the rotation. That's what I see. Smith misses all the holes and Isaac makes u miss w power running and finding the crease.

to his average level B1G QB status. He will never be good at the long ball but accuracy on the  short and medium passes should improve as he plays more with the WR and TE. We will not be an elite team until we get elite play makers and a good OL.

I would have him throwing long balls the entire practice. Until he hits one out of three every time, This over and under throwing is definetly problematic. Now we have a good idea how he got beat out at Iowa I presume. It was his inability to throw the long ball close enough to where other teams would respect it.
