Come see Brian in DC on 8/11/15
In less than 2 weeks, on Tuesday, August 11th, Brian will be making an appearance in downtown Washington, DC. He’ll be doing a presentation followed by a Q&A session with the audience, so be sure to bring all of your burning questions. This is an event sponsored by The University of Michigan Club of Greater Washington, DC, and will be held at 6:30 in the private back room area of RFD Washington. Food will be provided and there will be specials on drinks for purchase. The event is filling up fast, but you can still get tickets by clicking the register now link within the event info at http://alumni.umich.edu/connect/event/evening-brian-cook-mgoblog. Tickets are $20 for AAUM members and $25 for non-members. Hope to see a bunch of you there.
They were a good time. Are you coming to Chicago again?
Counting Serth, myself, and WolvinLA2, there'd be at least three people there. I would includ HermosaBlue, too, but I think he moved.

This isn't about you New York(!) Everybody already knows about you and likes you(!) GO away(!)
about whether it means anything that Brian's taking his official visit to D.C. before his official visit to NYC.
But I had second thoughts.
Mr. Cook Goes to Washington. Classic.
Alert Homeland Security. Contact Fred Upton. Hippie on the Potomac! The Wolverines are taking over.
...the bastard!
I would strongly encourage anybody in the DC area to attend if you are able. These "roadshows" are a great opportunity to hear Brian speak (he tends to be a bit more candid when it's not in writing) and you'll meet a lot of your fellow MGoBloggers in person too.
I wish I could go, I live in the DC area.
But, alas, I have an appointment then. Any other day, any other time, and I could do go. Sucks.
I hope this is not a one-time thing. Once he hits a city does he tend to come back the next year, or does he just move on to other cities yet unblessed?
I've never met anyone I have talked to online, but I don't see what could go wrong at all.

Will he eat a lemon at this show? I want to know he's going to play the hits before I buy a ticket.
Hate to break it to you, but speaking fees are ridiculous all over the political spectrum. Hannity and O'Reilly routinely get in the neighborhood of $80-$100K.
using the appeal of condemnation of such income.
I work right around the corner. Maybe I'll come by....
I kinda have a light schedule though....
Do I want to brave the Beltway during rush hour...
I'm going to be in D.C. until the morning of the 11th.
