Kenny Williams No Longer Considering Michigan
Does this mean good news on the Jaylen Brown front?
Former VCU signee Kenny Williams tells me he is no longer considering Michigan.

I'm hoping there's one with Jaylen's name on it.
sorry if this was talked about earlier and I missed it but to add fuel to the Brown fire, check out Bacari's tweet from earlier (sorry I don't know how to embed)
For those of you who don't want to click the link, the tweet reads...
"So excited to see all the great recruits coming into the B1G Conference. We are the best Men's Basketball Conference in the Country! #B1G"
Copy the embed of the tweet, then switch to plain text editor below the text box (above where you click save). Paste the tweet, then switch to rich text editor, and then post.
Disagree. Want Brown badly (duh) but even without him or Williams, this is a deep team led by a senior Caris LeVert, a B1G title contender and possibly more if everything comes together.
If by nothing, you mean five returning starters that includes a potential lottery pick as well as an experienced bench, then sure: nothing.
Normally one does not bank scholarships but with a very young roster next year I would be very content with Beilein not reaching for a 2 star (who yes he has had luck with) and use this scholarship that is open for a 2016 PG if Brown doesnt work out.
Even without Brown, we have a glut of players who can contribute next season and it doesn't make much sense to take a risk on a low-ranked prospect (even my utmost respect for Coach B's eye for talent notwithstanding) when there are so many excellent 2016 prospects who are uncommitted. (Sorry for the run on sentence, as it's something I have had a lifelong battle with despite being educated at the University of Michigan and knowing full well how annoying it is, so I hope that no one here is put off by this post.
We should still be a deep team w/out Brown, but getting him would be big.
Good news! Jaylen Brown follows Austin Hatch on Twitter!
But bad news too. He also follows John Calipari.
To me this indicates that Beilein has confidence that Jaylen Brown is coming our way. Anything can happen in recruiting, but it is looking very good for us.
This is reminiscent of the Harbaugh craziness that went on... the tea leaves are point in our favor. Austin Hatch getting the medical scholarship and Williams dropping out after he appeared to have a really high interest. I am guessing there is a chance that Brown just wants to wait until his senior year of high school is over (I don't know when that is) to make the decision so he can have some space to himself.
Was to look at Jaylen Brown's twitter to see if he posted something...... Getting antsy

My first thought was that this means that the coaches either told him that they had no scholarships remaining or that things just fell apart. Though I doubt that the latter is true because Williams just scheduled a visit.
+1 insightful.....
You mean to tell me this either means Brown is coming so he's taken us off his list or that Williams took us off his list for other reasons??? You can really read the tea leaves my friend!! .

If we get Brown and Carolina gets Williams, I am gonna be one happy dude.
If this is the kid's doing, then we just don't know. There are plenty of reasons why he would choose UVa or UNC over Michigan on the merits (distance from home, path to playing time, personal perception of prestige, etc.). Hell, he could have been asked to visit in late May to allow for Brown's decision to shake out, and perhaps he bristled at being a second fiddle.
That said... it's happening?
This has to be good news!
Nobody jumped in to suggest that Brown is already a silent commit yet? I am MGoDissapoint.
on an earlier thread today where Crystal balls for Jaylen had moved away from Michigan??!?
A few Kentucky insiders picked Kentucky. Shocking, I know.
to make an offer.
But I did see that a UK insider on 247 changed his crystal ball from UM to UK earlier today. I chose to ignore this.
We get some random unranked dude the NBA steals after 2-3 years.
/not worried.
On a plus note.... Jaylen Brown come on down!!!!
He's coming to UM
