OT-Game of Thrones S05 E03: High Sparrow
Arya has made it to Bravos and has been brought into the House of Black & White. I noticed she has added Walder Frey to her Kill Bill list. The Lannisters are in full regroup mode. The Khaleesi could be getting some unexpected visitors. No book spoilers.

I am a little uneasy about the amount of screen time Olly is getting... Bowen Marsh's replacement :-(

So far, I had been okay with the TV changes since most of them were done with expediency in mind.
HOWEVER, this change with Sansa marrying Ramsey is just too much. Hasn't this girl gone through enough already? Do we really need to pile on some more?
I really do not like this.
I bet that wedding doesn't happen.
I'm guessing Brienne and Pod will whisk Sansa away at the last moment. I liked the Half hand's talk with Jon....... He might leave the wall and get some family vengeance.
needs some vengeance for missing his parts.
Things are coming together for a Bolton beatdown. Reek is there, Brienne on her way and the servants certainly remember a better time when the Starks were in charge.
Throw in Stannis unilaterally declaring Jon Snow to be a Stark and heir to Winterfell and House Stark...
And no, I haven't read the books, yet.
Stannis didn't declare Jon Snow as a Stark, that was conditional upon his acceptance of Stannis's offer (which he declined). You have to pay very careful attention to the details.

Yeah, my money is on Reek assisting with halting the wedding. And since we know that some characters will die in the series that don't die in the book, it could cost him his life.
I can't see Theon dying just yet. He has a pretty big part to play, or so I believe.
Reek kills Roose and Ramsey, Sansa rouses the northerners and takes back Winterfell.

God that would be incredible. The story lines that I didn't really care for could be resolved in an awesome way if that happens. I don't read the books, so I just judge these eps one by one. If Jorah is taking Tyrion to Dany, then Tyrion would just say, hey, I was headed there anyway, so no biggie, why don't you pick up my boy Varys, and he is such a smooth talker, he can get you back in her good graces. Even though I felt this episode was pretty mediocre for GOT standards, it is still one of the better shows on TV. I think because of the short seasons, I tend to judge GOT a little harsher, especially when episodes aren't balls to the wall crazy good. Still a good episode, but my least favorite of the season so far.
The other queen.

She isn't in Winterfell yet, it's Moat Cailin.
Gotta pay attention...
It's definitely the Winterfell set. Which makes sense--with Stannis and his army at Castle Black, it'd be crazy for both Roose and Ramsay to suddenly go south to Moat Cailin and meet two people who are heading to Winterfell anyway.
They're absolutely in Winterfell. There were multiple establishing shots confirming this.
Are we going to see the Blackfish and the Brotherhood Without Banners again or are they just going to drop them Sopranos style?

My favorite scene with him was at the lighting of his brother's funeral pyre. Edmure shot 2 arrows and both came up short. After Edmure missed a 3rd time the Blackfish pushes him out of the way and takes the bow. The Blackfish checks the wind and lets the flaming arrow fly. The Blackfish turns and walks away before the arrow lands and lights the pyre.

I think she is still technically Khaleesi, as she still has a "khalasar", albeit a small one.

"The North Remembers"
Gave me chills. Great episode.
I can't remember a more boring episode - UGGGGH. How many people could be just standing around talking to each other. I get that it's setting up the season but SNOREFEST
Jon Snow summarily executed one of the key people whose actions led to Ned Stark's death. How is that not a huge plot development?!
Sansa getting matched up with Ramsay (and the aforementioned, foreshadowing "The North Remembers).
Arya's story was a little world building, but it is important to note she didn't throw away Needle - she still is holding onto her Stark name in some way.
Interesting seeing religion get thrown into the King's Landing politics more prominantly. If you think that's just people standing around talking, you've probably never loved the show as it is immensely political.
Plus, Jorah kidnapping Tyrion to take to the Queen (though, which Queen?).
I hope Jorah doesn't think Danaerys will forgive him because he brought her the imp. Jorah just might lose his head if he goes back to Mereen.

Just info from the show:
Jorah said he was "taking Tyrion to the Queen."
So, it's kind of ambiguous, but if you think about it from Jorah's perspective, I think one is much, much more likely than the oter.
on demand it tonight to get the exact wording. I understood it to mean Cersei.
to King's Landing. He was supposed to be spying for the Crown and then he thwarted King Robert's attempts to kill Daenerys. As far as the Lannisters are concerned, he fucked everything up and is responsible for a major threat to the realm.
He has to know that Cersei would have his head, even if he brought her the imp. He's going to try to get back in with Daenerys, IMO.
/haven't read the books, or seen the leaked episodes, so it's even money that I'm wrong.
You may be right. The folks Daenerys rules want the gladitorial games back and there was a flash of a preview with Jorah in some type of arena fighting. So it could be.
my damn DVR always cuts shows off before they get to the previews for next week.
saw that during the pre-season advertisement/lead up when they were promoting season 5 on HBO. I don't think I've seen the gladiator scene in any of the previews after the season began.
He got his pardon...

I watched the episode Ondemand and Jorah on says he is taking Tyrion to the Queen. No clue at all as to which queen.
I'm thinking he means Cersei as there is a lordship in it for him and he was her husband's spy. If he does end up in the Dany's arena, I'll bet he was first caught by her folks while trying to get to King's Landing.

I had forgot about the pardon, as mentioned by TIM above.
I think you might be wrong in one sense and right in another. However, you will have to watch the next 3 episodes to catch up.
Just a tidbit, Cersei is now the Queen Mother. (although she is still pulling the strings).
