My first two houses have been really old with plenty of questionable carpentry and stupid plumbing. You have my deepest sympathies.

i have worked on some where the hand-hewn beams were just beautiful and still very sturdy despite the passing of many decades. but yeah, without standardized building methods back in the day, fixing things when they go wrong can be quite the monkey rodeo.
Need to bring it up one more notch to close it out on Monday.
Great game, good win and hopefully they can ride that back here to Detroit on Monday and take the series.
As for drinking, Weihenstephaner (I bought rather a lot of it on the last foray to the store) and, at the moment, the new episode of "Orphan Black". Highly recommend this series if you've not seen any of it yet.
Not drinking, but I'm watching Raiders of the Lost Ark for the very first time tonight. Should I buckle up?

And sadly all the sequels were progressively worse. The last one was really sorta pathetic.

How dare you! I actually like the third one, but no one eats monkey brains in it. And no one gets their beating heart ripped out of their chest cavity
Raiders holds up because of nostalgia. Temple of Doom holds up because it is over the top awesomeness.

Nailed it. ToD is over the top and larger than life. I loved it. But then I also love Jim Steinman, Walter Hill, Sam Raimi, and Baz Luhrman. Stylized, in-your-face Art with a capital A is my favorite artistic mode.
Awesome win, but it makes you just cringe about the game 4 which we gave away.
Barritt Ginger Beer.
THIS. Great game indeed, but the series should be over, the Wings out of danger from the Lightning and awaiting an eastern Canada opponent, but they're not. I did some quick little research...the last time the Wings were up 3-2 in a series and finished it in Game 6 was when they beat Pittsburgh for the Cup in 2008. Since then there have been four other such opportunities and the Wings blew them all, and then only went 2-2 in the resulting Game 7s (2009 Anaheim, 2009 Pittsburgh, 2010 Phoenix, 2013 Chicago). I love Babcock for the most part, but letting teams back into it, whether late in the game or late in the series, has been something his teams have done far too often. End that shit, close it out Monday!
watching this blowout in the background while i study for one of the more asinine tests i'll have to take this year.
Wings look like the better team. they really brought it tonight defensively.

is the difference in this series. Would be over if he didn't cut his hand late in game 4.
