the L.A. Kings "Burger King" jersey- I'm thinking these are legit.
degrees are just awful, you end up with shit like this.
Outrageous! I don't even see a single boat, or hair cutting implement on the jersey!

I wanted to do a grad school thesis on the effects of sports teams changing their logo and their chance of winning a championship. Way more teams have than you might think. Some examples off the top of my head are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Houston Rockets twice.
Sounds like selection bias. For every year where a "new logo" team wins a title there are probably 20 where they don't.
