Coach Harbaugh's new Twitter page is racking up the followers
As of 10:45 p.m. Friday his Twitter page, created in the afternoon, had 91,100 followers. He is already one of the 10 most-followed coaches in the NCAA. The only coaches ahead of him:
170K Urban Meyer
159K Butch Jones
153K Les Miles
149K Mark Richt
121K Brian Kelly
107K Bret Bielema
107K Gus Malzahn
96.2K Bo Pelini
94.1K James Franklin
It's only a matter of time before IT HAPPENS and Jim takes over the top spot, I'm sure.
**11:00 a.m. UPDATE: 100K!

JH and Urbs will be at the top of that list by the end of the weekend. Suffice it to say the Big Ten is back.

Yeah but when every recruit, their sister, mother, father and uncle all have them, and the coach doesn't...it is just looks not completely tuned in...like it or not.
And that's not a headset pun.

This just screams, "I'm out of touch".
...and no, I will not get off your lawn. Matlock is on though, don't miss it!

And yet, he destroyed it in recruiting.

I'd love to see an hour by hour graph charting his rise in followers. Harbaugh rules all!

If only you could run Twitter analytics on other accounts, I bet the chart would be phenomenal. All I can really tell you unfortunately is that all I had to do was notify and tell others to follow his account and the mere mention of that sent the engagement and impression ratings temporarily into the stratosphere(relative to the normal numbers) for my own account. Can't imagine where that peaked on Jim's first tweet yesterday.

97.7k followers and counting, I checked last night before bed it was just over 92k. I cannot WAIT for some of his tweets if he uses it at all like he used to...

Just checked the number and found that Coach Harbaugh is at 98.9k followers, so he's moved past Pellini and Franklin already.
I bet he tops 100k by the end of the weekend!

End of the weekend? He's got 100K already.

Yes, that's what we said. We said Harbaugh having the most twitter followers is the only thing we want to win. That's all. Cancel the season. You understand us correctly.

is there some list that keeps track of the coaches rankings or did you look these up?
January 3rd, 2015 at 2:14 PM ^
A poster on another message board compiled the list. He may have left someone out but the ones above do check out.

132k. Why isn't anyone blasting twitter to get him followers? We should be able to get him to a amillion. Just need the right hook.
