Most people who smell Islay think it is aweful, and I understand. There are many great scotches, and I really wish I could drink a Spey side and be happy. I just can't, it is like I have a scotch deviance and have to have the most extreme, smokey scotch to enjoy it. But I do.

feel like it's a bourbon night, tho.  May open my Four Roses single barrel.

Have not yet opened my Laphroaig Cask batch 5.  My father-in-law drained my batch 4 over the summer :(

Got lucky and found a four pack of Bourbon County Coffee Stout today. Score! But I'm going with some barrel aged Mayan Mocha Stout, and a few homebrews tonight.

Branding at its finest.  When I was growing up in eastern PA, Yuengling was local piss-water along with Gibbons, Stegmaier, Schaffer, Genesee, and a few others.  You could get a six pack for $2.50.
 
Now its a "Microbrew" and it has established a cult following like Coors did before it came east.  Good for them.  They went through some lean times until recently.

Here in San Diego, we've got Coronado Wipe Out IPA on tap in the office kegerator.  It's a good way to get the evening started.  :)

Lots of bourbon. Just had to endure Midnight Madness in AA with the kids and wife. It was fun before the kids started to lose it. Young kids + late night festivities + too much hot chocolate and cookies = crazy.

Just broke out some scotch to dull the pain..... I have a close friend who works in AD dept at mizzu....looks like we gonna offer Gary Pinkle tomorrow night.... Lord help us if this plays out!!!
