Friday Posbang
It's Friday! Second half of the Tigers season starts today. I'm closing on my first home on Tuesday. Training camp for football is right around the corner and it's going to be a beautiful weekend here in Michigan!
Chris Wormley days until Applachian State!!!!
Going fishing on muskegon lake.....can anyone help a brother out with some waypoints!?!?
Wallys? Pike? Perch? Gills? Sheepshead?
and spoons. Gold is a mainstay. Perch color or white can produce too. The mouth of the river and to Bear are obviously good. The flat around the black buoy in the middle is good for smallies and pike. You'll lose a lot of jigs or minnows to pike there if you're rigging for the bass. A buddy boated a 43" out of there last year.
Well, this morning I find myself in downtown Detroit at our headquarters waiting for a meeting which should take me to lunch, and then as I took a half-day anyway, I will be heading straight home - save for some errands - after the meeting. It's a busy weekend at the house with the kids' birthday party being tomorrow - we have the parties together since their actual birthdays are five weeks apart (well, that strategy works for now).
Sunday is going to be the midsummer planting of a few more crops. For some reason, my soil favors beans, but then when I drive a few miles to the south of me and find bean fields which are doing quite well this year, I suppose that makes sense.
This coming weekend, despite the stress of a party, is needed - it has been one of those weeks that wears on me. Speaking of stress, hopefully the bouncy house we rented for this party helps with that.
BANG ME AND DON'T CALL ME BACK
Tough start, double bogey on the 1st.
Congratulations to both of you! Amazing times ahead.
Got that diaper-changing down? A different kind of #2 will be arriving soon too, you know...
My nicknames for my kids come organically in a part of my brain I don't usually access or undertand. But, I'll take you out to dinner if you get everyone to call him the deuce.
Late to the POSBANG so I upvote all of you!
CASUAL FRIDAY AT THE OFFICE!
It's a gathering of board members for gratuitous upvoting and spreading goodwill. I posbanged you just now, and you probably didn't feel a thing.
Oh, and since you're living in 1973 and based in NY, you might want to buy some property in and around Times Square. Trust me on this one.
Also, bet heavy on Seattle Slew in 1977 and Affirmed in 1978. You don't know what I'm talking about now, but in a few years you'll thank me.
Took the day off, watching the Open.
Watching The Open online, not doing a damn thing but thinking about how I'm going to celebrate this B1G Championship Michigan is going to bring us in December.

I'm sleeping today.
I may take a drive later and have a nice Walleye dinner somewhere.
I might take in a STL Dodger game if I don't find anything else to do.
Hurry up Aug. 30 I'm bored
You're right. Weird Al Yankovic is not for everyone, but occasionally his parodies are well-thought, nice tributes to the originals like Bob, his palindromic parody of Bob Dylan's 115th Dream. (Unfortunately, the video for Dylan's original is not available or extremely hard to find online, but the Weird Al parody captures the essence of the original.)
Of the recently released Weird Al videos, I like Word Crimes, the parody of Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines . . . For the Cunning Linguists of MGoBlog:
please suck that one, DB!
