What? They can review foul calls but not OB plays that clearly no official saw?
This 2nd half is probably the 2nd best half of the tourney.
That Wisc/Oregon 2nd half last night was just about the most enjoyable game (not involving Michigan) I've seen in a long time.
And this game is right up there with that one.
Some good bball being played this tourney (but also some ugly ugly bball as well).
Randal is getting all the calls at both ends.
This is quite entertaining.
This feels like an Elite Eight game, with all the talent on the floor. It's fun to watch.
Is EsPN serious?
How the hell are those fouls on drives/under the hoop not being called on both ends? Seems only UK benefits.
Randal and the Harrisons are getting treated like they are LeBron.
Wow. WSU turn things around fast.
Intestinal Fortitude!!! For sure Greg, for sure.
More missed/blocked dunk attempts in this game than I've seen in a while.
Kentucky is so fucking lucky. They deserve to lose.
EDIT Minnesota wins, 63-55.
EDIT 59-53 Minny, 1:02 to go, St Mary's ball.
Minnesota is leading St Mary's 54-48 @home w/ 2:27 rremaining.
Earlier in the day, Illinois lost at Clemson 49-50 after taking a 49-48 lead w/ 2:07 left and missing on their remaining three possessions. Clemson went ahead on a layup with 10 seconds left, and then Illinois failed to counter as Tracy Abrams missed a three point jumper.
How do you call that on Van Fleet?
Another reason to root for Wichita: either UK or UL will have a ton of fans in Indy. Wichita is the only potential Elite Eight opponent that would give us a neutral (or even pro-UM) crowd.
Officiating on hand checks is so inconsistent across not just the whole tourney but within games and halves of games.
This gettin ridiculious. You can't even go near a Kentucky player.
I think I want Wichita State to win. Kentucky could give us some problems.
I have a feeling even Jordan Morgan couldn't stop Randle's quickness inside
The officials have taken over this game. They won't call offensive fouls on Randal.
Kansas, Wichita State or Loiusville? Who do we match up best with?
Two more offensive fouls not called.
The refs really helped Kentucky in the second half of this game.
The refs seem to refuse to call a foul on the offense on lose balls and it gives an unfair advantage to teams with size like Kentucky and Texas.
It's been absurd they've gotten away with it along with getting all the calls.
4 of the last 5 fouls called on the Shockers.
I'm that guy. WSU wins this game 8 out 10 times they play and still might pull this one out. But the other two times UK would need officials like these.
Wow. He was hit on the elbow.
Still can't believe the committee allowed an 8 seed to have basically home court against a 1. Disgraceful. It will be the same for us against Kentucky or Louisvile if we get that far.
I can't believe the shots both teams have made in this game. Wow.
Ron BANKER!!!
Hopefully we have different refs if we play Kentucky.
I can't stand refs deciding games.
Gotta say, UK has capitalized on the line down the stretch.
WSU didn't get that opportunity.
