Kansas and Stanford in a dog fight early. Have to think Kansas wins comfortably.

This 2nd half is probably the 2nd best half of the tourney.

That Wisc/Oregon 2nd half last night was just about the most enjoyable game (not involving Michigan) I've seen in a long time.

And this game is right up there with that one.

Some good bball being played this tourney (but also some ugly ugly bball as well).

Think CBS would like the Louisville - WSU rematch story line too - I think they are happy either way. Then if they could get the Louisville - Michigan rematch, I don't think that CBS could have asked for better story lines out of the Midwest region.

EDIT Minnesota wins, 63-55.

EDIT 59-53 Minny, 1:02 to go, St Mary's ball.

Minnesota is leading St Mary's 54-48 @home w/ 2:27  rremaining.

Earlier in the day, Illinois lost at Clemson 49-50 after taking a 49-48 lead w/ 2:07 left and missing on their remaining three possessions.  Clemson went ahead on a layup with 10 seconds left, and then Illinois failed to counter as Tracy Abrams missed a three point jumper.

Another reason to root for Wichita: either UK or UL will have a ton of fans in Indy.  Wichita is the only potential Elite Eight opponent that would give us a neutral (or even pro-UM) crowd.

I'm that guy.  WSU wins this game 8 out 10 times they play and still might pull this one out. But the other two times UK would need officials like these.

Still can't believe the committee allowed an 8 seed to have basically home court against a 1.  Disgraceful.  It will be the same for us against Kentucky or Louisvile if we get that far.
