I am getting HYPED and am just injecting M directly into my veins and into my eyeballs Johnny Mnemonic style. This is an awesome video on Yost and the program, posted 6 days ago.

I'm going to be in San Jose a week from tomorrow - hopefully still celebrating a National Championship!

To be fair, Yost later regretted that and expressed a more open-minded view on race relations.

Excellent stuff. I loved learning that FY played on three teams simultaneously during one year. Talk about a transfer portal!

The grand old man of football. A noted racist, but a hell of a football coach and pioneer of the game.

We really don't need to keep going out of our way to extol the wonders and virtues of a man who never coached a single Black player at Michigan by design. There's no need to qualify it with coaching records or go through the "but was just a man of his time!" song and dance – the man was racist and acted out his prejudice into the fabric of his football/athletic programs.
