OT: Josh Butler and his dogs on senior day
Michigan State senior cornerback Josh Butler brought his dogs, Roxy and Remi, into Spartan Stadium as he was introduced before the game against Maryland. Butler lost both parents during his college tenure and he chose to walk with his dogs on senior day. Somethings go beyond rivalries and this is one of those moments.

Lost his father in 2017 before the PSU upset they pulled. Then lost his mother to stage 4 cancer. Drove 18 hours to see her pass and set her funeral up in Dallas. Kid has been through it.

Good for him - I cannot imagine how tough that had to be or, better yet, just how tough that is in general.

That was a nice moment in sports on a bleak day. I can’t imagine what he has been through.
On another note it would be great to see what Devin Bush’s dogs would do on the 50 yard line at Spartan Stadium.

Can't imagine finishing college after both parents passed away. I'm sure the dogs were a huge help in comfort. All the accolades to Josh Butler for such a great accomplishment.

Yeah, that was both sad and cool this happened. I can't imagine losing both my parents at that age; credit to him for handling it well.

Really great story. Feel just awful for the kid, but happy he had this moment.
