Who are you rooting for in the AAF and why?
I have chosen to root for the San Antonio Commanders. The reason being, I love San Antonio and I have always dreamed as a Bengals fan that they would relocate there. This is the closest I will ever get to that dream most likely. I also like their helmets and logo, these are very cool. I could do without their color scheme, but nonetheless that is who I am rooting for and why. Atlanta having Denard perks my rooting interest, but I don’t think he’ll play enough. I also love the Arizona teams nickname. The Hotshots! Hotshots fight Forrest fires in our great country and are incredible heroes that get little credit from the masses. If San Antonio is not playing, I guess I’ll go for Arizona. Glad to have some pretty cool football to watch this weekend.

I watched part of 4 games. I didn't root for anyone. I was trying to find a reason to root for one team or the other, but just couldn't get behind it. It's kind of strange that way.

Arizona Hotshots.
From Michigan but have lived in Arizona for the last 13 years. My heart is with the Red Wings, Tigers, Lions, and Pistons no matter how hard I have tried to root for Arizona sports teams. This gives me a clean slate.

Memphis Express. My brother and I just picked random teams. I chose them because of their red-blue color scheme. Tennessee's also a neat state.

Scanning boxscores for the Michigan guys is about where I'm at. Although I did happen to tune in to see Channing Stribling get a TFL. If someone could just create a highlight tape of the Michigan guys' weekly performance I would be much obliged.

If there isn’t a team in Michigan or a team in Berkeley/Oakland, then I root for the biggest underdog, because it’s nice to see the little guy win

Team: The Memphis Express.
Rationale: I grew up in Tennessee. They have sweet uniforms. Their coach is Mike Singletary. They play in a solid stadium. They have Channing Stribling. Their franchise also has contract rights for the Titans roster (my fav NFL team).
