OT: Willie Taggart hasn't signed a single QB in 2 years

“We have a plan, I think a pretty good plan,” Taggart said. “I don't necessarily want to discuss it right now, but I think we've got a pretty good plan of where we want to go."

Strange for someone that is a former quarterback. What could this foolproof plan be?!

Either Fischer is a really good recruiter or Taggart is really bad because Fischer had one of the most talented teams in the country when he was at FSU and now he's just given T A&M their first ever (that I can recall) top 5 recruiting class ever.  Personally I call foul on Fischer, but whatevs.

They must be pretty damn sure that Jordan Travis is coming, because ONE Sophmore is a terrible plan at QB. They may have another Spring transfer locked in as well; Brandon Peters is as good of a guess as anyone else.

Wouldn;t surpise me if Stanford Samuels or Travis Jay was trained up to be the third QB. They were both good HS QBs, and if they plan on running some sort of option running offense with Cam Akers, they wouldn't be terrible if they get that far down on the depth chart.

If that's true, then Blackman-Peters-Emergency QB for this year and Blackman-Peters-Travis for next year is not the worst QB situation I've ever heard of.

FSU is way too big for Willie Taggart at this point and I think Oregon proved that as well. Reminds me of Brady Hoke at Michigan. Taggart won't be there 2 years from now. The alumni are already going nuts after this past season.

I think Taggart is a good coach. But his FSU tenure has almost been as big of a tire fire as RR's at Michigan. I just have a hard time seeing him turn this around in time for the fanbase not to want him fired after next season.

Well, Army's done pretty well without throwing the ball much.  Maybe putting in that offense is his pretty good plan.

(Unrelated to current topic, but WHY did we schedule Army???)
