I wish Maryland had shown up tonight, but for all your Sparty friends who are feeling pretty full of themselves on social media tonight, please remind them (as I have) that they haven't beaten us in basketball in 722 days.
They haven't beaten us in ANYTHING (basketball or football) in 471 days.

completely agree, I think the B1G is very average this year. Outside of us and sparty don't see many teams I think get past the first weekend of the tourney.

Depends on whether you view Nebraska, @ Minnesota, Indiana, Wisconsin, and @OSU quality wins. Prior to msu they lost to Virginia Purdue and seton hall by a combined 11 points. I wouldn't look past Maryland, beatdown by sparty aside.

If we play like we did against Wisconsin, they will kick our ass. But I don’t expect that to be the case. With that said, we have a lot of tough games ahead and Charles and Iggy have to show up.

Maryland way too many really bad/unforced turnovers. Do that and miss your open shots you wont even beat Rutgers...cough, cough Nebraska ... cough.
Lots of basketball to be played before we play Sparty for the #1 and # 2 seeds in the meaningless money maker B10 tourney.
All I care about is no injuries, play fundamental basketball, get better every week, and prepare for March Madness.

Michigan is superior to Michigan State in every meaningful way. I don't need a winning streak fabricated from arbitrarily selected sports to validate that fact. It was stupid when Sparty did it years ago and it's stupid to suggest we celebrate a similar milestone now.

I guess I don't think it's funny, it's a meaningless statistic. Tomorrow it will be 723 days and the day after it will be 724 and what can the Spartans do about it? Nothing because we don't play for another couple of weeks. Creating meaningless taunts belie an insecurity toward the person or group you're taunting. I'm used to that kind of shit coming from Spartan fans because they are insecure and small and petty. I just think we have no reason to doubt our place next to them and that lowering ourselves to their level is beneath us; and yes, I realize that this is pretentious and arrogant and embodies all the things that Spartan fans hate about Michigan fans. I don't care. If that attitude grates on the average Spartan fan...good. Fuck them.
