There's a couple articles stating that he was just hired Jan 7th by ASU.
So this may be another case of JH poaching a coach that was recently heading somewhere else.

It's a rumor from "insiders". The insider's message that I read (not on Mgo) is from a dude who's connected to the program, but I don't know if his source (actual Michigan football or another poster on a different board).
