Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati have appeared on the top 10 worst cities for bed bugs multiple times over the last 15 years. I doubt this hurts their recruiting (or anything, for that matter).

Has passed even Detroit? WTF. Why was that needed in your post? Why didnt you say even worse than NYC, the city directly below Columbus. Just needed to take a cheap shot at Detroit because its easy? Or do you equate Detroit with the worst of everything? Do you live in Detroit and have a bad problem with bed bugs? Do you live in Michigan at all?

If you look at the list, Columbus is exactly where it was last year at number 5. In fact, the top 5 are exactly the same as last year. They havent passed anyone. Detroit has fallen from number 7 to number 8. Your comment about Detroit makes little sense. SMH

I do agree that the OP took the low road on that remark, and because the list is based on the volume of service calls for bed bugs, or so I recall from last year's published list, I would suspect there is a fairly uneven distribution across the city. Actually, the most recent story that I can remember of a place being essentially shut down because of interminable bedbug issues actually happened north of 8 Mile in Royal Oak Township, but in my travels working in the city, I've seen them in piles of discarded household stuff as well as in buildings and other places - they are most definitely around and in decent numbers in some areas.

We don’t need to negative recruit them anymore. For the first time in over a decade, we have a more accomplished coach:

1. Saban

2. Harbaugh

3. Dabo

110. Day

"Hello, Mr. Impressive High School Athlete. My name is John Beilein and Ann Arbor does not have a bed bug problem."

You're right. That's way better. Everybody, let's go with the positive angle.

Thanks for the input, Zeke.

As someone who grew up in NW Ohio and travels a lot I can unequivocally tell you Columbus shits on cinci and Cleveland. The suburbs are really nice, very good schools and overall we love the city.

The bed bug shit is crazy though and when you work I’m the medical field and travel a lot you think about it all the time lol.

As a one time exterminator...bed bugs do not care about status.  I have been in multi-million dollar houses that were infested and also HUD houses that would give you nightmares.  Trust me when I say anyone can get them...anyone!

This isnt new. Ohio as a whole, were top 5 for bed bug infestations the last 5 years or so. One year they were 3rd overall, with Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus being top 20 infested cities. They're running rampant down here because they have increased their enrollment to foreigners along with not being able to spray for them due to the chemicals not being regulated.
