Instead of the script Ohio, the band should spell out "Onion," because that's where a story like this belongs. Only it's real. Quintessential OSU. Guest lectures by Jim Tressel when Urbz can't make it due to the headaches.

That will make a lot of people outside the state of Ohio lose respect for the institution. Sucks for the students and faculty that are not blinded by a sports team.

What do you mean cases? He will be teaching How To Harass An Underling 203 as part of the core curriculum & everyone will have signed a waiver granting Urban immunity for his, ahem, hands on teaching methods & the Student Experiential Empathetic Understanding Learning Opportunities. There won't be cases there will be performance grades!

So professor, it looks like my cheating earlier in the semester is catching up to me sooooooooo, I'm just gonna audit this class and wait until something better comes along. It's totally legit, I have a letter to my family that I signed, see?

Lost in the uproar about Urbz, Ohio State also announced Art Sclichter is Teaching a graduate level DL class on knowing when to fold em, from the pen.

Speaking of Parlays, the Tat 5 doing a webinar on how to turn your gold pants into free “barbed wire” and tribal tats.

It becomes clear... in which schools does the academic reputation lead... and in which schools do the sports rule.

The sports-rule teams have major issues.  NCAA does not and will not care.

Michigan is an elite academic institution with top ten football and basketball teams... so there will be trolls and detractors at every turn.

Not worth its own thread:

"URBAN MEYER REVEALS HE MAY NOT HAVE RETIRED IF OHIO STATE LOST TO MICHIGAN IN 2018"

https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/2018/12/100808/urban-meyer-reveals-he-may-not-have-retired-if-ohio-state-lost-to-michigan-in-2018

So there's that, FWIW.

If you are going to lose by giving up 62 points, might as well at least get rid of Urban Meyer for your troubles.

Unfortunately football games aren't won by the non athletic jobs of people involved with the universities.

In spite of the "sins" thrust at any school it still comes down to playing the game. This year Michigan had the good fortune to have a top five class, above Ohio State. So where to go if the losses to OSU continue? Who will be blamed then? Or even worse that the losing streak ends but other B10 schools accuse Michigan of gaining an unfair advantage because of their "sins".

Will any coach of either team be deemed to be of low character even before he takes the job?

Has May been guilty of unpardonable "sins" already?

Maybe it's too easy for fans of either team to look for and find excuses beyond the real reasons for losing.

I suggest we just get back to the x's and o's of coaching and playing.
