I'll second this. I spent 10 minutes once trying to explain to my sister (who has become a passionate UM fan late in life) why the tight end wasn't eligible on a play because he was covered up by the WR.
"But he's an end - aren't they the ones who are supposed to catch the ball?"
"Well yes, but in this case ..."
I could tell my explanation didn't sink in. Maybe a book would help.

Actually Football for Dummies was a good place to start. I also liked Take Your Eye Off the Ball (2.0) by Pat Kirwan. It explains what you are watching. But what has helps me the most is watching the post-game write ups on this blog that are accompanied by film clips. Good luck!

The voting functionality has been troublesome since the new site was inaugurated. Now, I believe that, in the past, it was 100 points for voting rights and 500 was a "trusted user", but I am not sure if any of that is still accurate or functional.

All the M players who’ve declared for the NFL to change their minds. (but I TOTALLY understand - I’d prob do the same)
Every OSU recruit to reneg and every player left on their team to declare for the NFL, including Haskins.
Cheaper flights down to Fort Meyers in Feb. I’m looking a couple times a day. Grrrr.
