Truly think our stubborn coaches watched tape and said, “this team isn’t very good, we can just punch them in the mouth doing it our way”. Then got stuck like deer in headlights when they realize the style they want is exactly the way OSU can look like they are the best team ever. Speed with receivers on short passes (crossing routes) with 1-1’s & our O running 2/3 of the plays into a box between the tackles with 0 wrinkles.

Sad our coaches had no adjustments and no answers.

Haskins definitely has trouble if his prime target is covered- but if uncovered he is almost automatic- that's why he liked man coverage from us. We played right into his strength

Northwestern has 3 sacks going into the 4th quarter and we can’t get one “hurry” or “pressure” in the entire fucking game?  I don’t get it.  I don’t think I will ever understand what took place.

For those of you keeping score at home:

NW: 4 sacks

MICH: 0 sacks

Why?  Because they are coverage sacks, not just bullrush sacks.  They actually take a bit of time, but it does not matter because Haskins can't just dump the ball out quickly.

No matter what happens from this point forward in this game, it is clear that the Michigan coaching staff deserves no free passes, no benefit of the doubt. They need to drop the ideologies, get over themselves, and find offense and defense that is functional against more than just Rutgers and a Penn State with a crippled QB

It is possible the other team’s level of play varies from week to week also. OSU looked like flaming dog poo most of year; tackles got eaten alive by MSU, Minnesota, Purdue, everyone. Yet Haskins not even a hurry from best pass rush they faced all year. UM held every team before OSU to around 20pts under their average, yet OSU got their most of the year vs us. It wasn’t coaching on either side: it was matchup — the thing they do best offensively we struggled with, when pass rush was working, and got annihilated by when not — and they played their best game of the year by far. Or, yeah, Don Brown who has had top-whatever defense for something like last decade with 2 different teams and levels of personnel, best adjuster in game, suddenly can’t coach and didn’t adjust? Get off my lawn with that ridiculousness

This sucks.  I tuned in just in time to see OSU take control and start to pull away.  They're going to score again, making it 38-21, and then coast to TV adulation from there.  Fuck this.

My apathy has returned...
