If you go, be in a big group.
November 18th, 2018 at 9:59 AM ^
Take no prisoners, boys!
November 18th, 2018 at 10:04 AM ^
I'll be there, we're rolling 9 deep in section 6c. Please send prayers.
November 18th, 2018 at 12:12 PM ^
6c as well
November 19th, 2018 at 11:02 AM ^
Excellent, there are 4 of us in row 2. Did whatever it took to get in the Michigan section.
November 18th, 2018 at 10:09 AM ^
Whatever you do, do not buy a Michigan flag and wear it like a cape.
November 18th, 2018 at 10:13 AM ^
If you go, have a 15-ft pole along to open coolers. A 10-ft pole is NOT long enough to risk touching one that hasn't been sufficiently well-guarded.
November 18th, 2018 at 10:20 AM ^
don't wear any gear. sat with them vs. TCU in Jerry's World a few months back (by accident, BTW). Never met a bigger group of assholes collectively and individually.
Do plan on attending the Skull Session before entering the stadium. If you like college bands it's a great experience.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:05 AM ^
My friend went to a game there to watch his friend in the marching band since Michigan was on the road that week, (Purdue, the Shazor hit/fumble one) and I went with him to go to the skull session. I figured I could wear my Michigan gear since i wasn't going to the game but I didn't know the skull session was right by the stadium so I ended up walking back through the game crowd. It was terrifying.

What kind of responses this? I’ve been in the games three or four times in the past decade and every single time I’ve worn maize without incident. Yeah, people talk trash, but that’s part of supporting the team. Plus, sticks and stones...
November 18th, 2018 at 1:40 PM ^
^ agree^
November 18th, 2018 at 10:21 AM ^
Still deciding. Will be in Cleveland for Tgiving. Wife and kids aren’t enthusiastic about going so I may go on my own.
November 18th, 2018 at 10:43 AM ^
I’ll be in attendance and in the student section. If you see a single dot of blue, that’s me, hopefully alive by the end of the game.
November 18th, 2018 at 12:34 PM ^
36a row 20.. you wont be the only blue dot in the student section!
November 18th, 2018 at 1:16 PM ^
Don't worry, you'll be all alone by the middle of the 4th quarter.
November 18th, 2018 at 5:15 PM ^

Once was enough for that shit hole and toxic people. Never again. Worst game and post-game experience of my life and I’ve been to a bunch of places. They won and were still angry asshats.
Proud of those willing to do it. Thoughts and prayers.
i will say the pre-game party was a good time,
November 18th, 2018 at 11:22 AM ^
Can't wait. It'll be a business trip, driving in the morning and leaving right after the game. Going to be a tough week to concentrate as the only thing on the mind is this game and getting it done in Columbus. Go Blue!
November 18th, 2018 at 11:24 AM ^
Going with a Buckeye fan friend. Hoping he is my cover if things go south. More than likely he will join in my assbeating.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:25 AM ^
A buddy of mine had his jaw wired shut after a few drunk dumbasses attacked him after the game a few years ago. If you do go, be aware of your surroundings.
Most probably wouldn't ever take it that far, but as you know, a fair number of them are a bunch of uneducated, douchebag, pieces of shit.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:26 AM ^
Was at Harbaughs promise game and haven't been back to that shithole since. The hell with the whole state of Ohio
November 18th, 2018 at 1:38 PM ^
I was at that game too.
My seat was at ground level next to the running track at the time. When Matt Frantz lined up for the potential Ohio State game winning kick, my seat was behind the play and my sightline was blocked by the Michigan players standing on the sideline.
So I actually went right out on to the field so I could see the play. Nobody was paying any attention to me, all eyes were on the kick.
When he missed it, I jumped around like a manic. Then I composed myself and quickly ran off the field for fear of some kind of "fan interference" penalty that I never heard of that might nullify the results. I wasn't taking any chances.
After the game, I ran out to the middle of the field and stomped all over the Block O in spite.
Nobody bothered me in the stadium, but outside the stadium was a different story.
I was with some people from Ohio State and we walked past some student apartments after the game. I heard a loud "Fuck Michigan!", and looked up just in time to see a keg of beer come flying out of a second floor window and crashing on the ground by my feet.
Then I made sure to keep my coat on, covering my Michigan sweatshirt.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:27 AM ^
Hate to say it, but last time I was there I was treated really well. I mean I heard a few drunk college kids yelling stuff, but nothing that scared me or threatened me in any way. Lot of cops these days.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:27 AM ^
I’m 51 and haven’t been since my Junior year when I had beer poured on me (twice) and received a serious threat to my well-being from a rather “over served” gent with a neck tattoo. Not kidding on that.
Just was offered a ticket from a good friend and his family who are lifelong Buckeyes. They’re rabid Ohio State fans,, but they’re friendly at least. Debating going. Debating wearing colors if I go. I have such a nice man cave and 80” tv. Hmmm.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:37 AM ^
You should definitely go. More blue in the stadium the better.
November 18th, 2018 at 1:48 PM ^
If you are 51, you have some sense of the history involved here. You could witness the first Michigan victory over Ohio State in Columbus since the year 2000. You gotta do it.
November 18th, 2018 at 5:17 PM ^
Go. Life is all about experiences.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:29 AM ^
10C.
2006, 2010, 2016. I am due in 2018.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:34 AM ^
First time going down. Section 10C. Anyone know of any bus trips? There was one on Eventbrite that just closed. Sure would like to be with some friendlies. If we have to drive, thinking of parking on the outskirts and Ubering in to the stadium.
November 18th, 2018 at 11:37 AM ^
Just remember the uber driver will also be a Buckeye and will probably take you to Dayton
November 18th, 2018 at 12:08 PM ^
I won't be there. A hearty salute to those who are going. Bring home a WIN!
November 18th, 2018 at 12:32 PM ^
10C with goblueram!
November 18th, 2018 at 12:45 PM ^
I’m recruiting some big bodies and going to go fuck shit up down there just like our team.
November 18th, 2018 at 1:15 PM ^
Really close to going. Have a group sitting in section 8. I still need a single ticket, they dropped $50 yesterday on stubhub It is still more than i ever thought I would spend on a ticket.
Go Blue
November 19th, 2018 at 3:27 PM ^
Bought my ticket last night will be in section 8 with a large group.

Flying in from Alaska solo, sitting down near the UM bench, 22AA row 3. First trip to Columbus, just focused on supporting our boys in Maize and Blue. Stranger in a strange land, but it'll be a business trip. Was at the game in AA last year and the final four in San Antonio, where I was the only guy wearing bright maize in the Nova section. GO BLUE
November 18th, 2018 at 9:13 PM ^
Glad we have fans like you. You’re going to see an awesome Michigan win.
November 19th, 2018 at 8:47 AM ^
I want to go but not alone. Let me know if anyone backs out from your group and doesn't mind some company. Of course, I would pay my share of the expenses, ticket, parking, gas, etc.
