11/13/2017 - 4:04pm Will be 8 of us at the Hockey

Will be 8 of us at the Hockey game Friday and obviosuly the game Saturday. Got them from the Wisconsin ticket office but sounds like were close to the Michigan section in CC Row 30. Thanks for confirming glad to know there will be some friendly colors near us.

01/27/2017 - 12:01pm lower case i

The lower case i is really underrated, IMO.Constantly gets overlooked in various Microsoft programs. Disrespekt?

01/04/2017 - 10:37am Agreed

I agree. Needless to say I was on the concourse drinking and not listening to them

01/04/2017 - 9:48am Pregame

I know the bands didn't perform at halftime because of DNCE or whatever. But anyone know the reason we didn't play the normal pregame songs? The one I really care about of course is "Let's Go Blue" It was sad not hearing "The Big Cheer from the Big House" come over the PA. For the record I enjoyed the other songs but was just curious!

08/04/2016 - 10:30am #30

I was always a Markus Curry fan myself.

07/14/2016 - 12:29pm Awesome, Section 217 Row 16

Awesome, Section 217 Row 16 here as well. 8 of us going, seats 19-26. Glad to know fellow MgoBloggers will be by us

06/15/2016 - 10:59am Wow

Erik Ainge my god, theres a name. That list makes me want to throw up, and Braylon still somehow made the Pro Bowl with Derek Anderson at QB.

06/03/2016 - 11:56am Iowa Ticket Office

I will be going to the game, the Iowa ticket office has them going on sale at the beginning of July (no set date yet) but they are selling them for $85 as well. Should be much cheaper than the stubhub price. Also if you have not booked a hotel yet I would recommend doing that ASAP, as pretty much every hotel in Iowa City is already booked for that weekend.

01/25/2016 - 3:57pm Signature at MGM

My buddys and I did a suite at the Signature which is part of MGM the first time we went, there was 6 of us. Had 2 bedrooms and a living room with a pull out couch, worked out great for the 6 of us, and I am assuming they have bigger rooms to accommodate more people. If you decide to go with the 2 room option go with location over anything else, cheaper places like the Flamingo or Planet Hollywood are nice hotels and are in some of the best locations right in the middle of the strip.

10/07/2015 - 11:58am Thanks

I'll have to check that area out for sure. State College being in the middle of nowhere is not helping the cause here that's for sure.

10/07/2015 - 11:54am Hotels

Finding hotels is not fun... Everything right around State College is around $450 a night (and that's the cheapest). 2 years ago we stayed in Slippery Rock and partied there, but it was about a 2 hour drive into Happy Valley and 2 hours back after the game. After the game it's really about 4 hours because getting out of Penn State is an absolute nightmare and takes forever. So just be prepared to have a post tailgate for a little while, cause you won't get very far if you leave right after the game.

10/07/2015 - 11:33am My buddy's and I were

My buddy's and I were thinking about making the trip, possibly staying in Pitt since hotels are outrageous in State College.. We'd be down to join in on a tailgate. Tailgate scene there is great and the stadium is my favorite place to visit. Well bring a lot of beer.

09/25/2015 - 1:19pm Over

I did take Bosie tonight but I will be putting a bigger bet on the Over. The reason - UVA really struggles against stopping the run (Check out that William & Mary box score) and Boise struggles defending the pass. Well, Boise can and will run the ball, while UVA loves to air it out and has a solid QB. 2 strenghts against 2 weaknesses. I'm going with the over. Also like a small play on Oregon State if you're really looking to get after it tonight.

09/24/2015 - 10:31am Week 4 Picks

Had a pretty solid week last week (4-2) with my biggest plays on BYU and Stanford. Hopefully I can repeat or do even better this week.

TCU -6.5. Defense is banged up and will probably give up a ton of points. But Texas Tech’s defense is even worse. Spread is pretty low and everyone is riding high on the TTU train but TCU is still the much better team. I also like a small play on the OVER of 79.5

BYU +5.5. This one pains me but the more I bet with my heart the more I lose. I think we win but I just don’t see the cover. BYU is always the underdog and all they do is cover. Late Kenny Allen FG gives us the win, but take BYU and the points. Plus at least you win money after you’re depressed if we lose.

Southern Miss +22. Another team where all they do is cover. Nebraska got extremely lucky to come back and take that game into OT last week, it was never that close, and Miami’s top 2 DB’s were kicked out of the game during the comeback. Take the 22.

Oregon -12. This game does scare me I will admit. The only reason I am taking Oregon is because I thought the spread would be closer to 15-16, instead it’s listed at 12. We all know Utah is legit, but Oregon at home is just a different animal. Ducks to cover.

UCLA -3. Myles Jack being out is a huge blow, but Arizona’s D is atrocious, even if Scooby Wright does come back. Rosen should have a monster day to a team that gave up almost 600 yards to UTSA (!). Gameday is in Tuscon and it’ll be a crazy environment but I’ll take the Bruins. Take that Rich Rod.

USC -5.5. Everyone is off the USC bandwagon after getting demolished last week. I’m back on the bandwagon after taking Stanford. USC’s front 7 is legit and frankly ASU has not been very impressive in any game this year. Lay the points, and while you’re at it put a small play on the UNDER of 64 as well.

GT -7.5. If this line goes to 8 or any higher I would avoid it. But at 7.5 I like GT after getting crushed by ND last week. Duke will be able to score but I don’t know if they will be able to stop the triple option consistently. Going with the Ramblin Wreck. Mostly because I just like to call them the Ramblin Wreck.

Well come back with an evaluation of the picks next week. Good luck everyone!

09/24/2015 - 9:49am I'm glad I'm not the only one

I'm glad I'm not the only one on the 'home dog on a thursday night' train. My favorite bet to make.

09/17/2015 - 2:36pm USC

Everyone is saying how much they love USC and basically calling it a lock. Bet Stanford, when the public is all in on one team, always side with Vegas. Take Stanford and the 10.

09/17/2015 - 12:24pm Agree

Agree with you on SC, Spurrier teams ALWAYS play Georiga tough. Disagree on TTU, like Arkansas even after last week, everyone will jump off the Ark bandwagon and bet TTU, good spot to go against what everyone else is doing.

09/17/2015 - 12:22pm UL

I absolutely love Lousiville tonight. Thursday night home team getting points, spread has also moved from E to Clemson -5.5. Goin with Petrino tonight.

09/10/2015 - 11:50am 34 - 13

34 - 13 Michigan

09/02/2015 - 3:20pm Yeah I figured it was about

Yeah I figured it was about time I accomplished the "every game" feat. There's about 5-6 of my buddys that go to as many road games as we can. And yes this is my last year of student tickets sadly, haven't missed a home game since Rich Rod's first year. Always went to a lot before then too but not every one like I am able to now.

09/02/2015 - 1:28pm O Line and DT... Hoping we

O Line and DT... Hoping we can keep Jake (or Shane) upright and create any sort of hole for (insert RB here). If we can run the ball with any success we have a legit shot to win the game. Losing Mone is a big loss, hopefully our DTs can step up and at least hold booker in check.

09/01/2015 - 9:41am Staying at the Salt Lake

Staying at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel at Temple Square. For that long of a name I hope it's at least bed bug free... Gonna attempt to go to Gracies for the pregame party.

08/31/2015 - 12:51pm Absolutely, looking forward

Absolutely, looking forward to the experience. Hopefully the seats aren't too awful, look decent from what I have found online.

08/30/2015 - 11:16pm N 26 Row 26

My buddy and I will be there. Section N26 Row 26 Seats 8-9.

08/27/2015 - 12:16pm Morgan, Peppers, Butt

Morgan, Peppers, Butt

08/03/2015 - 11:27am I just called the ticket

I just called the ticket office, the # is 801 581 8849. The guy I talked to was pretty helpful, and he said $100 is the minimum donation I believe. You can hold off and wait til the 17th but chances they have any left after the presale I'm sure are pretty slim. This is most likely what I will end up doing, I'd give them a call for sure.

08/03/2015 - 11:22am If you donate $100 you can

If you donate $100 you can get the crimson club presale and up to 4 tickets, may be worth it if the stubhub prices don't go down

08/03/2015 - 11:14am Tickets

I believe tickets go on sale 2 weeks from today (if they have any left). I'd rather not pay the current asking prices on stubhub, scalping may be my best option. What is everyone else doing for tickets?

07/30/2015 - 2:28pm Why 64?

68 Teams, but only if the 2 play in games are in Dayton

07/29/2015 - 9:38am Just bought 6

5 of my buddies and I will be in section 3 row Y, hopefully we can take over the stadium.
