Entire B1G having a good day. Michigan's win is obviously the highlight, but Indiana is taking it to Marquette, and Nebraska is drubbing Seton Hall. Nice batch of conference wins, will help at tournament time.

I can't decide if Michigan is Actually Good. On the one hand, trailed at the half to Holy Cross. Blasted Nova on the other.

Seems like they move the ball very well, and can get high percentage shots around the rim better than any team since the '12-13 team. But they do not have the outside shooters that can stretch the floor, and Poole has played twice as much and scored half as much as he did last year.

SF, if you watched that game and can't decide if we're good, you need to get your peepers checked.

This team is different from what we're used to - gonna have some tough shooting nights, and FT misses will be infuriating - but wow, this is the most athletic team Coach B has ever had.

Defense is sublime, and they were absolutely attacking the basket/boards on both ends. Mathews, Iggy, Livers and Teske were dominating 'nova inside.

Z is a terrific floor general, and they play hard and smart basketball.

And, we have Coach Beilein - so yes, they are good.

It's waaaaay too early to know how this team will look by tournament time, but I could see Michigan making a deep run even with spotty shooting.

Defense and rebounding make up for a lot of missed shots. It's hard to imagine anyone having a big offensive showing against us - we do a fantastic job of defending 3-pointers.

This result won't ultimately mean as much as it feels like tonight, but we've got some ballers on this team, and the best coach and staff in the business.

This is sacrilegious, but this team reminds me a little of MSUs 2000 national champs.

Z is our Mateen

Mathews is our Mo Pete

Poole is our Charlie Bell

Iggy is like a more athletic Anagonye

I guess that makes Teske our Hudson.

We dont really have a Jason richardon....

That MSU team won as a scrappy, defense first squad behind Cleaves as a floor general, just like Z.

NIce, I thought this season would be good and no doubt there will be peaks and valleys but I’m extremely satisfied with what I just saw...GO BLUE!

Why would they be crying, didn't MSU win its game tonight as well?  Are they more concerned with what our team does?

Wow - just WOW! This is going to be so hard switching back & forth between FB & BB. I posted the other day about being a football first fan and just lately getting on the BB bandwagon the last couple of years. Guess I better get a little more FAN-natical about BB! Go Blue!

Happy birthday!

Also, man is that 247 board depressing for an MSU fan.  I think a lot of the diehards are getting a bit tired with Izzo's schtick, and that's supposed to be the team they can expect to win a ton.

Though it must be hard to root for Izzo or Dantonio these past couple of years.

Those curmudgeons were pretty much complimentary of Michigan (begrudgingly so) but nonetheless, that was very RICH!! Heartily enjoyed their concern of what we looked like tonight.

Goodness that is something nice to read that other schools fans freak out and get as close to the edge as some Michigan fans seem to every year. although it happens it is way more fun when the rivals are the ones on the ledge because they are watching the wolverine game and getting ready to call their season a loss

MSU and UM are like dead even (slight MSU ) over the last ten years.  Both excellent and represent the conference without cheating like a Kentucky or Kansas.  Be proud but the fab five must still ring a bell.  Be glad you have a coach who is a dignified and honorable as Belen and don’t feel the need to look to MSU.  We are just fine in all things basketball.
