-- love seeing tru get on the field and be so effective

-- favorite play was DPJ grinding against like the entire rutger secondary for nine extra yards after being gang tackled

-- shea's improvised pass early in the 2nd quarter after the busted pocket was amazing (can't remember but think it was to DPJ?)

-- only worry for me is seeing paye and hill leave with injuries.

also ESPN abbreviating them as 'Rutgr' in the play-by-play was particularly enjoyable to discover:

I know it might be hyperbole.  But I thought this was Shea's most impressive passing game (not the most important completions like DPJ at Spartan Stadium).  Yes, it was Rutgers.  But, that was the most settled he looked in pocket. Had loads of time and as the pocket was starting to squeeze him, he kept his eyes downfield, stepped up and threw. You could tell on long balls that the wind played havoc on accuracy. Obviously, when he did scramble, he made some sensational throws.   Again, it was Rutgers, but I give him, the Oline and WR's a lot of credit for making some clutch throws and catches. There was never any doubt Michigan would win, but if a few of those passes are dropped the score is 28-7 rather than 42 to 7.

It was windy as shit at the game, and the wind was blowing east-west across the field. I was freezing my balls off in the second half. I was surprised we ran as much as we did given the conditions and opponent, but whatevs. The TD to Martin was a beautiful thing.

Glad to see Martin getting some targets and making some plays, unlike what Black was tweeting, he was the WR that really seemed to be getting shut out of opportunities in the last two years.

Hopefully they target Black more vs indiana (ignoring the deep TD his first game back from 2 years of injury they dialed up for him his first game back) so he doesn't become a distraction

on the verge of Michigan's first B1G title game... don't need/want a player tweeting about HIS lack of playing time or targets.

Shea PFF #1 QB of the week ... 184 QBR in swirling wind conditions.  Team effort - pass pro great, WRs focused and finishing plays, with Shea dealing it.

Only thing they might be holding back for Ohio State is a play that they probably wouldn't be able to use more than once during the season, and it might involve one-time QB recruit Zach Gentry finally getting to throw the ball.
