James Franklin Implies Michigan's DBs Are Well Coached at Holding
Full story here but relevant portion:
“They hold. They grab, they hold, they tug, they pull. They get called for it a decent amount, but they also get away with it a lot more....They’re gonna run with ya and be in your hip, but while they’re in your hip they’re grabbin’ your pants, grabbing your hip, very rarely is it the jersey because you see the jersey, they’re well coached at it.”

Whether he realizes it or not, he just threw Trace under the steamroller. Give our defense MORE reasons to be fired up, dumbass!

Wait until Don Brown holds Franklin by the throat for 60 minutes. It won't even be subtle.

Franklin can grab this L. Michigan's got at least 6 more to give out this year.

He's right. In fact, every team does it.

Heck yeah they do. It's no coincidence that our secondary play suddenly got better when Michigan started following the Seattle Seahawks / Michigan State grabby style of play by DBs. That's the way the game is called and played, might as well take advantage of it.

They sure do, because they're excellent technicians, know the game and make it work for them.

We can play for a jug of Franklin's tears.

not surprised that james franklin doesn't recognize good coaching.

I say we get a Kickstarter going to pay the back judge $10,000 just to troll Franklin by calling a Penn State DB for holding on the first series.

I've been lurking on PSU boards the past couple days, and I've seen several references to "referines." PSU is just getting in the pre-complaining.
