Johnson/Klatt on the call

Per MGoBlue game notes.  I thought word was that it would like be a Tim Brando call, and that Josh Martellus would have a really big day, but it looks like we have been promoted to the "primetime crew" after Staee got their head out of their ass last Saturday.  This is my favorite broadcast team going right now and happy they will be on the call (even if the game will likely take 5 hours to play).

I'm not really a Gus Johnson fan because of his "intense play calling" on normal plays but it does seem like he has toned it down during the last few broadcasts I've seen with him.

Gus Johnson is so annoying with his excitable calls on any little thing, like a 30 yard FG, PAT, 2 yard run on a jet sweep.  always makes me cringe and think there is a flag or late hit or something.

I would say the best PBP guy right now in College Football is McDonough. When he was paired with Speilman it was a great team. Nessler is pretty good, but I really can't stand Danielson.

I've always been a Johnson fan when he rose to prominence in the NCAA Tournament with his excitement.  He's a local guy and a Michigan fan at heart.

Klatt right now I think is the best color guy in the business (strong argument for Blackledge too). When Klatt went in on that ridiculous holding call on Higdon, he gained all the respect in my book. "What in the world?" "That is a penalty from Mars"

Speaking of Metellus, on that int, he almost blew the play . Hope coaches let him know... The MLB sure did
