that was my thought. why go over the middle on a short yardage play. a route near the sideline makes a lot more sense to me.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:42 PM ^
Over, WI lucks out again. I think we can take WI at home. I hope Hornibrook spends most of his time crushed in the turf.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:43 PM ^
What does the PAC-12 After Dark game look like? ASU and someone... Well, at least the Herm will be entertaining.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:43 PM ^
Well, we want Wisconsin higher ranked when we play them anyway.
Still would have been fun to see them lose.
I dont mind seeing Kirk lose, either.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:43 PM ^
Michigan needs to beat Wisconsin. They are not very good.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:47 PM ^
If our D line holds up, I like our chances. UM will be the fastest and most athletic team that they will have faced to that point.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:44 PM ^
Too bad we could not take care of IA on the road in 2016.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:51 PM ^
Ultimately it didn't matter though. The OSU game was for the playoff.
Actually the Iowa game hurt OSU the most, as it took us out of the tiebreaker and gave the division to PSU.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:44 PM ^
33 yer TD scamper around the left end just pours salt in Iowa's open wound. Corn farmers everywhere gonna need a Frosty tonight.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:45 PM ^
That corn is really gonna get it.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:45 PM ^
That should finish off the Big Ten West.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:48 PM ^
One game playoff for that side of the conference.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:46 PM ^
I wonder why I got the B1GNETWORK? most of Michigan's games are on FOX BIG.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:47 PM ^
Hornibrook gonna die against UM
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:49 PM ^
"Wisconsin has won in Iowa City five straight times"
@&#$#-$;#-&$+(#$#
September 23rd, 2018 at 12:01 AM ^
A 7-6 Purdue team won in Iowa City last year.
North Dakota State won in Iowa City two years ago.
A 7 loss Northwestern team won in Iowa City 3 years ago.
A 10 loss Iowa State team won in Iowa City 4 years ago.
Northern Illinois, Central and Western have all won in Iowa City in the last 5 years.
Kinnick has somewhat of a curse on just a handful of teams, Michigan being one of them (we lost there rarely before RichRod) but them struggling at home to teams bad and good is not all that uncommon.
September 23rd, 2018 at 10:53 AM ^
Iowa sucks, I hate that style of play. Ferentz is so damn predictable and conservative. Iowa should have won that game but they tried to protect a three point lead with 9 minutes left rather than put your foot down and keep trying to score more points. Its Lloyd Carr ball play tough D and only score when you have too lol, gtfo Iowa
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:49 PM ^
Wisconsin with the big win
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:49 PM ^
It looked like Iowa practiced that end of game play a thousand times.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:53 PM ^
Why the fuck was Wisconsin defending the last play? An the fans were cheering? There down by 11 lol
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:50 PM ^
Much more confident against Wisconsin after seeing this game. Home field advantage probably puts us on top.
September 23rd, 2018 at 12:01 AM ^
Getting an early lead will be important in that one to not let them play their slow ground and pound game.
September 22nd, 2018 at 11:52 PM ^
Which is more fun Pac-12 after dark or tuesday/wednesday MACtion?
September 23rd, 2018 at 12:01 AM ^
Eastern cashes in a turnover, makes it 17-10 SDSU just before the half.
September 23rd, 2018 at 12:01 AM ^
Ultimately no real upset happened. Stanford, WI, MSU and Oklahoma won
Ugh
September 23rd, 2018 at 12:05 AM ^
Old Dominion beat VT! Texas Tech smoked Oklahoma State.
September 23rd, 2018 at 12:10 AM ^
I don't consider VaTech or Okiestste we olayoff teams.
September 23rd, 2018 at 12:03 AM ^
Let's go Sun Devils.
September 23rd, 2018 at 12:35 AM ^
Eastern takes the second half kickoff and drives down for a score. Tie game in San Diego. Eastern might genuinely be the second best team in the MAC West and if they could beat Toledo somehow could go to the MAC title game.
September 23rd, 2018 at 12:38 AM ^
Eastern tied with SDSU at 17. Mid-way through the third...
September 23rd, 2018 at 1:33 AM ^
Eastern kicks a FG, up 3 with 3:18 left.
September 23rd, 2018 at 1:37 AM ^
Eastern squib kicks like morons. Idiots.
September 23rd, 2018 at 1:42 AM ^
Awful call by the refs that the QB was out of bounds before he threw, he was not.
September 23rd, 2018 at 4:02 AM ^
When the official announced the call I told my friend that I did not think I had ever seen a QB step out prior to legitimately throw a pass. And then the replay came, and I told him I had never seen a guy called out of bounds when he was actually about 16 inches in bounds. And no replay. That play cost the Aztecs about 25 yards right at the end of the game.
September 23rd, 2018 at 2:01 AM ^
That INT by EMU might seel the deal
September 23rd, 2018 at 2:05 AM ^
That one is on Chris Chreighton. The squib kick to prevent the long return is the stupidest decision coaches make frequently in football. It concedes the long return!
This makes me so angry.
Anyway, I think Eastern wins at least 5 MAC games this year.
September 23rd, 2018 at 2:18 AM ^
3 games in i can say michigan state is not the lucky 10 win team like last year. they will finish 8-4 at best. Losses to michigan, penn state, and ohio state. Ill go out on a limb and say maryland beats them too. Terrible oline, no running game, and a pretty bad secondary
September 23rd, 2018 at 2:29 AM ^
Best game tonight was Old Dominion over Virginia Tech. Indiana sucks donkey balls. Nice fail you fucks.
