A 7-6 Purdue team won in Iowa City last year.

North Dakota State won in Iowa City two years ago.

A 7 loss Northwestern team won in Iowa City 3 years ago.

A 10 loss Iowa State team won in Iowa City 4 years ago.

Northern Illinois, Central and Western have all won in Iowa City in the last 5 years.

Kinnick has somewhat of a curse on just a handful of teams, Michigan being one of them (we lost there rarely before RichRod) but them struggling at home to teams bad and good is not all that uncommon.

Iowa sucks, I hate that style of play. Ferentz is so damn predictable and conservative. Iowa should have won that game but they tried to protect a three point lead with 9 minutes left rather than put your foot down and keep trying to score more points. Its Lloyd Carr ball play tough D and only score when you have too lol, gtfo Iowa

Eastern takes the second half kickoff and drives down for a score.  Tie game in San Diego.  Eastern might genuinely be the second best team in the MAC West and if they could beat Toledo somehow could go to the MAC title game.

When the official announced the call I told my friend that I did not think I had ever seen a QB step out prior to legitimately throw a pass.  And then the replay came, and I told him I had never seen a guy called out of bounds when he was actually about 16 inches in bounds. And no replay. That play cost the Aztecs about 25 yards right at the end of the game.

That one is on Chris Chreighton.  The squib kick to prevent the long return is the stupidest decision coaches make frequently in football.  It concedes the long return!

This makes me so angry.

Anyway, I think Eastern wins at least 5 MAC games this year.

3 games in i can say michigan state is not the lucky 10 win team like last year. they will finish 8-4 at best. Losses to michigan, penn state, and ohio state. Ill go out on a limb and say maryland beats them too. Terrible oline, no running game, and a pretty bad secondary
