Lewis Cine tea-leaves.
Shore some areas up that obviously need improvement.
Lewis Cine (.97 247) Safety, probably SS due to Dax's speed and the fact that he's reportedly 2" taller and can put on good weight a tad easier, is visiting this weekend. This is not the news.
The news is that Lewis noted the Dax commitment and (IMHO) went out of his way to mention how lethal or effective the two would be playing together.
I do not, however, have the same confidence that I did with Dax.
Disclaimer: I am not an insider. I have one personal friend that works for 247. Lorenz, though I trust him the most, is not personally known to me. He's just not one that delivers information just to deliver it or get clicks. I am not mentioning others for a reason.
Let's hope his visit is as legit as Dax's and Roz shows up again in excellent form.
Go Blue!

But did you see what Zach Harrison had to say about Hill's commitment?
September 19th, 2018 at 10:18 PM ^
What’d he say.....
September 20th, 2018 at 12:56 AM ^
No I didn't because Harrison is a smart kid who has his twitter set to private
But for real Dax, then Cine, then Harrison PLUS Hinton? Add in Mazi who is a solid 4 star, Ojabo who has untapped potential, Charles Thomas who is underrated, DJ Turner who was wanted by basically every Powerhouse program...………..OH BABY
Right dere would be the best UM defensive class ever

I don't want to get everyone worked up, but board contributors seem to keep forgetting 5 star Quavaris Crouch, who allegedly has us tied with Tennessee. I mean, I like those odds.

We will get 1 of those tackles also. We will need major attrition to get all these guys, or some lesser ranked players will get the cold shoulder, if you know what I mean.

Crouch is one I've been reading a lot about. Michigan has a much better chance at getting him than people realize.

Cine would be niCe

Don't go off on a tangent here...

Obviously id love to have Cine and Dax but I always get nervous when we get two highly rated commits who play the same position. I know theres FS and SS so both could play at the same time, but im sure many kids don't want super stiff competition so it always makes me worry about one of them then decommitting to go play where they are 100% guaranteed a starting spot. Just me being overly nervous as usual tho

I generally agree with you, but on the other hand, how does teams like 'Bama get away with it?
September 20th, 2018 at 10:34 AM ^
Established program, big winner, sends almost everyone to the pros, seems pretty self-explanatory.
September 20th, 2018 at 9:09 AM ^
At least you got your last sentence correct. You gladly bid farewell to any kid who, at this level of play, does not embrace competition.

So, tea leaves. The new buckle up?
September 20th, 2018 at 10:50 AM ^
No, Dax's announcement was unannounced, so we flew right through the windshield on that one.
Tea leaves are early indicators that normally take some steeping.

Yeah, going through the windshield hurt, but it was a good hurt

That would be great. But I am wanting Danielson Ike to Michigan more.
September 20th, 2018 at 9:34 PM ^
He is my choice of the OT prospects as well...love his "get the job done" attitude...he's a finisher.

Here's an interesting blend,: EJ Holland, 247's lead analyst for Cine, just fogged up his ball AWAY from Georgia.
It was assumed they were the leader at this point.
Seems like some smoke to me.

Here, today, smoke is good.

Just to update everyone, he cancelled his visit due to travel problems
