Don Brown & Jay Harbaugh are impressed with Shea Patterson
Of course Don Brown would only say positive things even if he had a negative opinion, but Don Brown said he has been impressed with Shea Patterson. Brown notes that Shea is a very gifted athlete and has earned everyone's respect with how he handles himself and takes his role seriously. Brown implied that we need to let Patterson play to his talents and ability; "let him player."
Jay Harbaugh says that Patterson has improved a lot since the spring in terms of knowing our formations and plays.

I think the only telling thing, and it's not really a surprise, is that Brown (I didn't see/hear Jay's comment, so I can't speak to its context) didn't make a point to start elaborating on the strengths of Peters or McCaffrey as well. What he said wasn't notable, but it sounds like he was answering a question about the starting QB.

Noticed his pinky finger has abnormal extension. Injury or trigger finger? I say its Don brown going extra aggressive...
Honest question, has Don Brown said anything about one of our QB's in the past?
He did have high praise for Dylan McCaffrey working the scout team last season. Not sure if that's what you're looking for.
Yes, and no. He praised him for his work on the scout team, but he never said 1 positive thing about any of our starters. No Wilton is looking good, or John has shown great leadership, or Brandon has a ton of swag? To me this speaks volumes. Maybe someone specifically asked about Shea, but he still went out of his way, with praise. Alright, I need a drink to calm my nerves.
Just beat Notre Dame.
Me thinks they will let Shea chuck one deep to ....hmm, Ill go with Gentry on the first drive. Or black, whichever the safety leaks to. Probably black
I want the very 1st play of the season to be Patterson hitting Black on a go route for a 75 yard TD. Then, of course, we would go on to score many other TDs in various manners. But I just really want that 1st one to happen.
We have legit options at QB:
Shea Patterson
Dylan Mcaffrey
Brandon Peters
Joe Milton
The offense will be a bright spot for the team.
Someday, I want a coach to come out and say: "Yeah, that savior quarterback you were all hoping brings us 11 wins and fame a glory? Turns out, after the first few practices, I decided he sucks. We're all fucked."
And I hope that coach is in Columbus, EL or Happy Valley
This may be camp fluff.
But it is better than pictures of Tate Forcier with a wing-less helmet.
So I'll choose to believe that Patterson is the real deal.
Is Patterson a mobile quarterback, a balanced QB, or a pocket passer?
Yes.
Can we just get Zordich in here to tell everyone that he sucks?
If we do that, Patterson is bound to be an All American.
We won’t hear anything on whose starting at QB for UofM until game time at 7:30 at Notre Lame.
I see you playa

I mean, I suppose that's literally the least we could expect, but it's something. "Now he knows the Michigan playbook, whereas before he saw the Michigan playbook, he didn't know it."
