I don't think it's a coincidence that when Spike got on the floor we looked a little more in sync.

I really think Walton is the talent, but Spike really gets us going.

Not liking Walton today.  Some bad shots and not dishing it off to a wide open GRob two possessions ago.  A little antsy.

The likely reason they are forcing it right now is that this is their (DW mostly) first taste of this level of competition. We haven't played a team like ISU yet this year, and Walton is fresh out of high school. He'll get better.

Are we getting hosed on the calls? Mitch drew a charge but the call was on him. Then he gets completely shoved out of the way on a rebound with no call. WTF refs???

Play Spike and Walton together if you want to get Walton the experience.

We've done that some already this year. Play Spike at the point to control the tempo.

McGary is a special player. So physically gifted, but so smart, too. Always seems to do the right thing.

GRIII on the other hand . . . I honestly don't know what NBA scouts see in him. He's got loads of athleticism, but he seems to fit best as a fourth or fifth option energy guy on a team like ours.

So glad to see Mitch playing, although he looks pretty stiff and uncomfortable. Why does it feel like we always get killed on offensive rebounds?? I've never looked at the stats but it feels like we rarely get an offensive rebound.

Can we quit bitching about GR3?  he's fine.  He's not an off-the-dribble creator so I don't know why everyone is using that as the metric to judge him by.

He's been a beast on the boards in this game.
