Well, the Baylor-TTU game has gotten to a place where you might expect it to be - 634 yards of total offense between both teams and almost 75% of it in the air. Baylor is getting an average of 7.7 yards per snap while giving up only 4.98 yards per snap.
Meanwhile, in the South Carolina - Florida game, they've let Skyler Mornhinweg throw only 5 passes, but he has hit them all for 43 yards.

If Stanford goes down Oregon may get themselves back in play for #3. They would likely be heading to the Pac12 title game.
November 16th, 2013 at 9:41 PM ^
How is it that USC gets away with not playing Oregon this year?
November 16th, 2013 at 9:37 PM ^
Muschamp! Silence overrated South Carolina.
November 16th, 2013 at 9:40 PM ^
If you like big hits that one to start the half was a beauty.
I would have called targeting but it was a big hit.

I think that was Christion Jones who also is the player that received that punt.

I assume there will be some changes to the rule like the yards can be overturned in the replay.

Is anybody else watching the Sun Devils?
November 16th, 2013 at 9:48 PM ^
Anybody watching Baylor-Texas Tech?
Airraid my ass!. They opened the 2nd half with an abusing running game. I mean abuse in the literal sense. Those guys run hard and lay punishing hits to oncoming tacklers.

Kevin Norwood had a tremedous catch to end that drive.

Bama's run game is a thing of beauty.

And that is that.

Matt Millen is doing the Florida @ South Carolina game...he just said something to the effect of "and Legree turned into a Simon Legree with that pick."
Simon Legree is a fictional slave owner from Uncle Tom's Cabin that would beat slaves to death, rape female slaves, bribe slaves to beat other slaves with alcohol, and physically abuse slaves if they prayed.
Perhaps not the best choice of references.

Yeah....
I know they try but sometimes you just have to wonder what is going on in that mind.

Stanford-SC is a pretty good game. Neither team can get that go-ahead score.

Some clutch run D by Stanford there. Wow.

With that win Alabama is now 10-0. They have had 10 wins for 6 seasons in a row now.

Eddie O may have just landed himself a pretty good job.

That penalty might really hurt. Stanford still has a bit of a chance.

"Serv-Pro: Like Kiffin Never Even Happened"
A testament to the power of upgrading your coaching, even midseason. That is not the same team that dumped games to Wash St. and ASU. The improvement is stunning.
November 16th, 2013 at 11:33 PM ^
November 16th, 2013 at 11:34 PM ^
They didn't dump a game to ASU.
November 16th, 2013 at 11:43 PM ^
They also scored 10 points against Notre Dame after Orgeron came aboard, and were fortunate to beat Stanford.
They might just be a talented-but-inconsistent team.
November 17th, 2013 at 12:53 AM ^
Even in that game, they seemed to have pulled themselves together after the ASU debacle. But they're not up one week, down the next, they're playing consistently better than in the first half of the season. It suggests coaches are getting more from the players.
USC deserved to win tonight's game. They made the plays at the end that Stanford didn't make. We're dreaming of playing well enough to be in a position where being "fortunate" means a win over a top 5 team.
