"Coach Borges, what did you see against IU that you didn't see against PSU that led to calling a wide receiver screen?"

AL. Stop running out of I-formation. It doesn't work.
IT DOESNT WORK

Probably wiggle room on "making a play on the ball."

He really hasn't done that much outside of the ND game. Just been a solid part of the offense.

Unstoppable Catch God Jeremy Gallon
October 19th, 2013 at 4:28 PM ^
I don't mind the placement of that ball, the DB was playing way infront of Gallon, so he put it behind him. Right choice there.

All things considered pretty damn good 1st quarter.
1. No turnovers
2. Limited manball
3. When manball was unleashed it kinda worked. (sort of)
4. Outside of one play where they fell asleep the D played pretty good.
I'll take it. Three more please.

Didn't watch Wisco-NU, but I believe NU was limited on offense by injuries to Mark and Colter. Their offense is anemic without those two playmakers.
October 19th, 2013 at 4:31 PM ^
That's what I'm starting to think.

Can Gallon make a run at Roy Roundtree's record (246 yards) today?
October 19th, 2013 at 4:31 PM ^
I really like Greens vision when he gets the ball. Yeah, he makes mistakes, but also makes some quick first cuts
October 19th, 2013 at 4:31 PM ^
And an ankle tackle brings him down.

Offense is definitely looking better today from what I've seen. Let's hope it holds up.
October 19th, 2013 at 4:54 PM ^
this is what the offense needs to be, diversified. I don't mind manball when the "D" is on it's heels and doesn't know what's coming next. I also think the team is playing with a little more desperation. They are at home, that seems to be helping too.

Of course it's blocked.
