I would have thought MSU would be the better choice for a lineman who wants early playing time, but then again its MSU.

ESPN gave them a nice bump from 18th to 17th in team rankings. We all know ESPN has been killing it this year in recruiting.

how many OL are projected for 2014, I would assume 3 simply because thats probably the bare minimum any team can take and still have quality OL depth. I know, I know.... Richrod begs to differ.

I think Michigan could sit tight with two offensive linemen after taking six in the 2013 class. That's still eight guys over two classes. I think they're at a point where they can take the best available guy, whether it's a RB, a CB, a LB, an OL, etc.

I believe they've redshirted every OL since Hoke arrived.  Even last year when the interior of the line was weak and the conventional wisdom was that Kalis was college ready as a freshman.  I'd think that's likely to continue with what should be a deeper, more talented OL group.

Agree - that is a logjam at the position due to last year's haul.  Nice to say that as depth has been an issue.  Of course as always some kids won't work out but 8 over 2 years is 4 average and we can expect next year will be easier to recruit the position since kids will see playing time won't be so difficult to get with the 2 year spacing between their class and the big 6.

Then go read another website. Or read this one and click on a different thread. Nobody forced you to click on the thread that's titled "Jamarco Jones to Ohio." Brian - the owner of this blog - is obviously okay with it, so stop whining.

Even though i hate O$U, it's good to see the B1G dominate the state of Illinois like they should. The SEC has done some damage, especially last 2 years getting Treadwell, Pocic, A.Morrison, etc. Even USC plucked RB Issac

How do you think the rest of our board is going to look like? By that I mean like Furbush, Westphal, Scott, McDowell...etc. I look on 247 sports daily and I feel like there aren't much more interest from other guys that I haven't read about. Any surprise guys?

I'll give you a top five of guys I think might end up at Michigan (in no particular order):

Malik McDowell, Da'Shawn Hand, Noah Furbush, Montae Nicholson, Malik Hooker.

If there are going to be surprise guys but I know about them, then it wouldn't really be a surprise. But Casey Tucker, Jamal Davis, Darius West, Jalen Embry, Tyrone Washington, Saeed Blacknall, and Juwann Winfree are some guys that could be possibilities for commitments or offers if the coaches turn up the heat.

His loss! He wants to be a nut let him!

Urban Oscar Meyer weiner will probably leave for another school soon and the school will be dealing with some more crazy sanctions due to Meyers cheap recruiting tricks.

The start of the comment thread was weak. We tried to play the 'class card' and it looked weak to me. Why can't we just get nasty sometime. If Jamarco wants to play the buckeye card then let the boy's get loose a little. Screw trying to compare class response with "rcmb & 11wari". We're arrogant for a reason. Go Blue tohell with ND & tosu.
