Bosch and Frank Clark both appear to have clubs on their hands - broken digits?
Charlton beats LTT (who was playing LT)
Charlton, Clark, T. Gordon all look very solid (size wise) for their positions...
...scrimmage is next.
First play a 30 yard pass to Darboh.
Second play a safety by Clark.
Third play a 10 yard out to Gallon.
Drake Johnson is first team RB.
:(
2nd team offense is on now...
Chesson and Reynolds are the 2nd team outside WRs
#65 is LG and #62 is RG...Bosch and Bars.
2nd team LT and RT's
Bryant also in at 2nd team RG for Bars.
Makes good reads, he just has zero arm strength.
...but in all seriousness, Bellomy is Brett Favre in comparison.
Running with the 1st at LG.
AJ Williams also now in with offense.
Defense is rotating so no one is really playing with a "team" no surprises on defense.
Gardner still has the hardcount and Gallon doesn't go deep on the free play.
Are they just wearing whatever they pulled out of storage first?
every year we wear stuff we wore in previous years...
Last year we wore the UTL helmets for practice.
Because Gardner gets everyone to jump offsides every time. 3 plays in a row.
Nice run off they right side by Rawls. Schofield, Williams and Kerridge with the main blocks.
Right down the seam...perfect throw and Justice Hayes steps up in the name of finger pistols with a NICE block.
Next play Rawls gets a VERY NICE run for a TD off the left side.
...they were outside runs, so he did what he was supposed to do. That said, it doesn't mean he's still not running like Mike Shaw.
I am hoping they are crushing people
...you don't want them crushing people, that would mean Q, Pipkins and Black are playing terrible.
That said, they're holding their own. Kalis sealed the edge on Rawls' TD run, Miller hasn't had any noticeable mistakes.
Looks good on a short pass to the FB Houma. He has great footwork and ball skills.
NORFLEET between the tackles shaking two guys for a first down.
Holds the edge J-Ryan style and contains Norfleet until help arrives.
Next play Cleary throws a nice pass to Jackson.
Cleary is very solid 15 yards and less, anything else...not so much. But seems like a Spike Albrecht "heady" kind of a kid.
The Victors.
I don't remember this from last year
Not really going to comment, but Allen Gant just had a solid hit.
Is this a real person? I have never heard of him
Edit: I figured it out I think. Apparently a freshman walk-on from Detroit Crockett. De'Anthony Hardison
Speaking of which, this backup QB, Alex Swieca isn't too damn bad. He's making some decent throws and at least knows what he's trying to do out there.
Looks like a backup QB at Iowa or something like that.
Here's a profile on DeAnthony Hardison:

I'm guessing he's related to this guy:
Thoughts while the 3rd teamers are getting some run.
Starting OL looks very solid IMO. Still some progress to be made, but when they lock in, GOOD LORD, they move people. They're so much more aggressive.
There is no separation at RB, all 4 have shown flashes...Rawls just got the best opporunity and took advantage of it. That said, they're all solid, it could be a LOT worse. A lot of specialty guys.
TE's look very good. I've been impressed with Funchess, Williams and Butt thus far.
Gardner obviously isn't the athlete Denard is, but I don't think it's far fetched to say he has better command of the QB position. He seems to understand the little things better. Hard count, tempo, down and distance, etc.
---------
On defense, I think we're solid, I haven't see any surprises...I'll try to pay more attention to SDE and S since those are the question marks.
He's looked great. He's not pinpoint accurate, but he's throwing balls that are being caught.
He's just got to improve and put it on the numbers to get YAC.
He's hitting his targets, just not too many bullseyes.
Although Taco just got back to back sacks on him. #youngBEAST
Taco Charlton is wrecking whatever poor walk-on tackle is trying to guard him
Jim Brandstatter, "Taco Charlton is the real enchilada"
Taco - stop hitting the quarterbacks!!
