Winged Helmet on SNL tonight.
It's just our weekend, all.
Two wins for Michigan Hockey, whatever this is, and a Big Ten championship tomorrow afternoon.
Time to hang some banners.
Go Blue.

Timberlake is funny as hell.
I bet this wont be the last time we see this Gif.
Tim Robinson (featured player this season) is from Clarkston. I imagine this might have something to do with it.

...and it might just be a Clarkston Wolves helmet.

The Kevin Hart episode was borderline unwatchable. To each his own...but as bad as SNL has been since...well...the departure of Will Ferrell, the show last week was one of the single worst I've ever seen.
Last night was funny, though. I don't really care for Timberlake's music, to say the least, but he's an extremely talented individual, and seems a helluva lot more at ease with acting than many other "more accomplished" actors/actresses who host SNL.

When MSU is on SNL, it's for that stupid Japanese campus TV show. When we're on, it's epic. Solid episode. Stephon always gets me.
You guys are fast i was just posting that on 247 then came here to drop it..awesome..fuck yeah..go blue..sweet.. gif already awesome
those were the days
"the days" were when Akroyd, Belushi, Chase, and Radner were there.
From the cranky old man who wishes he'd dressed his daughter in Michigan gear when she was young.
I You Tubed Akroyd's Bass-o-Matic skit for my teenage kids and they just about fell to the floor laughing. Dudes, those were the days.
That skit the was pinnacle of television humor for me. "Wow. That's terrific bass!" Of course, that does suggest I am deeply disturbed.

One where he kissed everything he saw(including a dog--a puppet) and the famous Pete Schwety(sic?) skit where he ends the skit by saying "You'll love my schwety balls". Hilarious.
MGoBlog is the center of the media universe. The question is why did you NOT know that???
He's a writer on the show an an alumnus. The writers get on camera every so often.

was a writer on SNL in the mid-80s. (He also was one of the writers of See No Evil, Hear No Evil, a film starring Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder, who was married to Gilda Radner, one of the original SNL cast.)

I devolved into a sporadic SNL viewer some time around the dark ages of Colin Quinn, but I have to say this was one of the best episodes I've seen of the program in a very long time.
Top it off with a Michigan helmet and you have television gold.

Mgoblog was an answer on the Newlyweds game. Something the husband spends too much time on.

Fess up, gobluemk. It was you on the show, wasn't it.
Pretty sure it's Mike O'Brien. He appeared earlier in the episode putting the "5-timer" robe on Timberlake. I used to row with him at Michigan and I forgot he was on the show until I saw him last night. Plus I think that guy dancing with the helmet was a little too skinny to be Tim Robinson. I could be wrong though...
