Funny, I was just going to ask the good Lord to save us because now Rudy is playing on NBC. Disgusting.

My lord Milliner is good at football

Milliner is your lord? :P

Is anyone actually watching Ok State and K-State?
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:33 PM ^
I am, actually (well, some of the time - I'm also watching USC-Oregon). I hate CBS, its crappy announcers and SEC slobbering.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:11 PM ^
It seems like whenever I root for a team I normally don't like, they crap the bed. MSU, Pitt, and now Alabama looks vulnerable tonight. And of course Oregon is doing their annual collapse against USC.

November 3rd, 2012 at 9:15 PM ^
USC is driving again, and it seems clear that Kiffin is just going to try to soften up Oregon with some good "f*ck you" run plays meant to gut the middle of the Ducks' defense, if you will, and Oregon has politely obliged. USC is about 10 yards from making this a 34-31 game.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:22 PM ^
That was he worst fake FG ever in LSU-Bama
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:01 PM ^
I take it you didn't watch Michigan-Minnesota today.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:22 PM ^
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:23 PM ^
Wow - KSU returns a kickoff for a TD and then OKSU does the same!
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:23 PM ^
Both attepted fake FG's on 4th and long that had no chance of success!
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:26 PM ^
Going for it on 4th and 1 on the 50 and throwing it... that's ballsy.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:31 PM ^
They had two receivers with only DB within ten yards of them. Easy throw outside and it's a guaranteed 1st down. Michigan could take notes on that.
Edit: Only one DB within ten yards.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:34 PM ^
WRs drop passes sometimes though, even routine screens. I wouldn't feel comfortable going for a throw in that situation with our WRs.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:32 PM ^
I don't know what's better (or worse), the low-scoring game with Bama and LSU or the game without defense in USC/Oregon. I'm rooting for a Bama/Oregon championship game just to see what the hell will happen.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:36 PM ^
I can't watch the USC Oregon game...are these defenses trying? ~1000 yards thru 3 quarters?
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:37 PM ^
After the Oregon TD, USC returns the kick to the Ducks' 16-yard line. There are now over 1,000 yards of offense in this game between two teams. Actually, you would never know that you were looking at the 4th and 6th best teams in total defense in the Pac-12. No, looking at the stats, you would guess they were both middling...
USC now inside the 5, going to what is more or less their jumbo set on offense for a TD, and they succeed. 41-38 if the PAT is good.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:38 PM ^
Oregon and USC hit the over with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.....considering the line moved 5 points, I am going to assume that EVERYBODY was on the over!
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:42 PM ^
My hopes for BCS games:
Bama-Wildcats in the MNC game. Love to see Colin Kline against that D.
Oregon-ND in the...Fiesta? I know, I know, Oregon would be in the Rose. But I want to see if ND could stop that offense and I also want to see ND get crushed without getting a sniff at the title.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:43 PM ^
This Oregon/USC game is embarrassing. Literally no defense is being played. They aren't even trying.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:44 PM ^
Think about a potential nonconference match-up between Oregon and West Virignia.
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:02 PM ^
Oregon would win 86-14.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:45 PM ^
This is getting patently ridiculous...
USC completely botches pass coverage and gives up another big play for a Ducks TD.
Barkley looks upset on the sideline, and I suppose I don't blame him - you're asking this guy to keep the Trojans within a FG of tying, not in the lead. Enviable position, to be sure.
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:47 PM ^
I turn the channel to watch a few minutes of the Bama/LSU game and Oregon/USC score a combined 20pts... KSU/OKST are also testing the scoreboards at 31-17 heading into half...
I will say watching the Oregon and KSU games is like watching a college game, but Bama/LSU looks like a Sunday game.

Hang on, is no one watching UConn and South Florida on ESPNU? South Florida just got a huge interception with less than a minute left to preserve a home win and now the two teams are a combined 1-8 in the Big East. South Florida got its first two interceptions of the year tonight!
November 3rd, 2012 at 9:54 PM ^
Oregon/USC - 14:23 4th quarter - first punt of the game for either team.
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:15 PM ^
I was surprised they even punted there. Given how lethal Oregon's offense is, maybe teams should go for it on every 4th down against them to make sure they never get the ball.

No college team ever can beat a pro team...Period! Did you not pay attention to the other 1000 discussions going on this week thanks to Spurrier...or any other conversation about this topic ever. 53 pros are ona pro team, whereas only10-20 on an elite college team...and those 10-20 aren't all ready for the pros at the same time
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:15 PM ^
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:18 PM ^
And if 'Bama beat an actual pro team it would take a miracle as well.

Spurrier thought they could beat an NFL team or two. Then he was chastised all weekend, as he should be. Bama is a hell of a team, but after five minutes of a pro game, if you can't tell a difference in the speed, the hits and the intensity then you aren't paying much attention.
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:18 PM ^
USC has scored 45 points and are two poss. down!

i think it's pretty clear now what Joe Tiller was talking about when he coined the term "basketball on grass"
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:20 PM ^
Oh man . . . USC had a perfect onside kick but couldn't recover it in time (apparently) before it went out.
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:21 PM ^
If Oregon can put up 55 points on USC, I am very curious to see what they'd do against Bama. That would be the ultimate speed/uptempo versus power/run it down your throat game. Not that I like either team, it would be nice to see K-state in the championship game, but Oregon/Bama would probably be the best game. I haven't really watched Oregon much and am surprised by how physical they are on defense and surprised how big their corners are and how tall their DEs are. I guess I always assumed they were smaller, but they aren't.

November 3rd, 2012 at 10:34 PM ^
First off, that was last year, not two years ago. Secondly, what does LSU/Oregon of last year have to do with Alabama of this year? Oregon is a much better team defensively this year and way more physical from what I've seen. They have two CBs over 6'0". Their D-line is really tall. And, their secondary hits hard. USC has just as many guys that will play on Sunday as Alabama does and Oregon is having no trouble whatsoever scoring TDs on every possession.
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:44 PM ^
Is Oregon really much better defensively? They've given up 51 tonight.
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:21 PM ^
Looks like the ball moves when it hits the ground.
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:24 PM ^
Good call, self!
November 3rd, 2012 at 10:23 PM ^
If it takes this long....it has to stay with ruling on field. K State just scored to go up 3 scores!
