Alabama students are not students of the game

Submitted by dnak438 on

From the twitter feed of an English instructor at Alabama, Brian Oliu:

My final quiz question today was 'Who is the starting quarterback for Michigan.' & four people got it. FOUR. Alabama students are terrible.

This was after they asked to have the quiz today because the majority of them were going to Dallas for the game.

@ejgold90 it just further proves my point that Alabama students know nothing about football.

Also, don't worry, I yelled at every single one of them & told them 'KNOW YOUR ENEMY'. I swear, y'all.

I also found this when I was a graduate student at Texas. It was almost as if football didn't exist outside of the Big 12 for them.

The concept of a student coupled with someone from Alabama does not logically mix.

Case in point: having a pop quiz about football in English class. Way to have your priorities in line.

Alabama's offense is designed specifically so that their QB shouldn't be able to ruin it for all the other 5-stars. That said, his one bad day last year cost them the regular season game vs. LSU, and he was otherwise brilliant. I would take him under center over Vandenberg if that was the type of offense I was going for.

You should all know this because you have purchased and memorized HTTV. Hinnen wrote such an excellent article on Bama I gave it extra space.

This wins the award for least parseable comment ever on MGoBlog. Is it supposed to be

  1. Yeah, buy Lebron and the president could tell you who he is... (cynical about Lebron edition)
  2. Yeah, boy. Lebron and the president could tell you who he is... (Flavor Flav edition)
  3. Yeah, but Lebron and the president could tell you who he is... (cynical about both Lebron and the president edition)

Must... know... answer...
