Terrence Robinson put practice videos on YouTube.

Interesting stuff.
I don't know how to embed videos because I am a bad human being.
That's some wide angle stuff there. Nothing ground breaking, but I hope he got the coaches' permission before throwing any of that up. Usually coaches hate it when practice video gives away formations.
Some of the clips are from the RR era and some are from the Hoke era. You can see Borges and his pear shaped body in one of the clips.
I'm pretty sure you mean gorgeous shaped body.
Hey man, the pear is a beautiful and elegant fruit.
Evidence: In the second video notice the really bad missed tackles and an beautifully haired man come running into the screen (I assume with some sort of beaver)
Correction: You can see Borges and Hoke in a few of them as well. A bit surprising, though not much is actually seen in any of the videos that other teams wouldn't already know, I wouldn't be surprised to see these videos taken down soon.
I definitely saw Tate throwing at 2:47 into the first video, which means that they are older videos.
Somewhere on the internet, someone just started a "Tate's back on campus!" rumor.
This is the closest look yet I've had at a Michigan practice. Better get comfy and watch them all a few times before they disappear.
Damn, I'm midway through the first video and thought it was pure football porn until I realized why the defense was so horrible.
Ol' #40 can't seem to catch a break. And #4 exists to get pummeled.
I assume he's sending these around trying to get a Russell Wilson 5th year scholarship somewhere? Or would signing on with an NFL/CFL/Arena League team be the play here?
It is a great thing that these tapes have been released, particularly the Rich Rod era ones. Opponents such as Alabama may see those, and assume Michigan sucks and underestimate them. Those tony gibson era corners were lit up like tiki torches.
I think most if not all the clips of him wearing 8 are from the RR era.
I've always thought that the hilarious part of this video is the fact that everyone got excited about his juke in the backfield...and everyone always ignored him tripping over air at the end of the run and falling on his face. It begins like he's awesome and ends like he's a klutz, but everyone's conclusion was "He's going to be sweet!"
Since Robinson graduated and has one year of eligiblity left, I'm wondering if Coach Hoke signed off on him using some of these clips as a highlight reel since he didn't play much. Perhaps this is part of his campaign to get a scholarship elsewhere and play his final season of eligibility.
He will have had to graduated in order to transfer to FBS, otherwise he could only transfer to FCS & still be able to play.
Unless I'm mistaken, he did graduate.
Sweet Jesus, look at Cam Gordon getting torched... It drives me effing crazy watching him play strongside linebacker (basically a defensive end) and to think that Rich Rodriguez started him at free safety. Ugh.
I heard Russell Bellomy is going to replace Devin Gardner as Denard's backup.

wow that Mike Williams...not so good at the football tackling thing
..two other guys that don't look so good in those individual drills...Cullen Christian and JT Turner.
I could only stomach a few minutes of the first video I watched because of how badly Cullen Christian was getting torched. It was like trying to watch a bad American Idol audition (or any American Idol audition for that matter)...
He has gotten some praise during the Pitt reports this Spring, so maybe not having Gibby as his position coach will help him improve.
I think our entire secondary got better the second Gibby left campus. There were always rumors that our secondary would perform better around lunch time when Gibby ran out to grab a burger, and the secondary's best game of the season two years ago was when he was home sick with the flu. These videos practically confirm it.. all of it.
I think he was too busy chewing tobacco to really care what was going on in the football game.
I was watching #24 get smoked and thinking Holowell isn't too good...forgot about Christian.
I'm not sure better coaching will even help Cullen become a good player.
I sat next to Isaac Bennett, a Sophomore RB for PItt, on my flight from Pittsburgh to Dallas a few weeks ago.
He said Cullen Christian should start and is a great teammate one of his close friends. Said he never leaves the weightroom. He also said Vinapol is one of the hardest workers on team and should see the field.
Said He loves Magee, and that he really knows what he's doing (I realize he isn't there anymore) When I brought up Tony Gibson, he just started chuckling, looked at the ground and started shaking his head. He said know one on the team took him seriously. (as if we didn't already know)
Thought I'd share as it's relevant to this post.
None of these things are surprising, except maybe the Cullen Christian thing. I'll be interested to watch him if he starts. I don't think he is a starter-level player for a team like Michigan, but maybe in the Big East...
I agree with you Magnus.
Remember, he said that him and Cullen are good friends. He could have just been propping him up because he wants him to succeed. I'll keep a not so close eye on Pitt this upcoming year to see how things shake out.
He's not going say "yea, that's my boy Cullen Christian...one of my good friends here at PITT, but he sucks at CB and needs to move to safety if he ever wants to see the field."
I'm just saying...if it's his friend and his teammate, don't you all think his view of Christian's game could be skewed?
I'm not saying he's wrong...I'm just saying, consider the source.
You make valid points.
However, he did not have the same tone about Vinapol. Said Vinapol "Should see the field" that's the nice way of saying, he's a good kid, hard worker and I don't want to say anything bad about him.
He said Cullen Christain Should Start....
...but he didn't say (or at least you didn't share with us) that he's close friends with Vinopal.
We ain't talkin' 'bout the game, we talkin' 'bout practice.
in that first vid.
These make me ill.
