Alamo Bowl Open Thread
In the spirit of creating these threads ridiculously early, I present to the MGoPublic the Valero Alamo Bowl Open Thread. Remember, gas is a few cents cheaper at the Valero station....in Canton.
Anyhow, it's Washington (7-5) versus RGIII and Baylor (9-3) in a Pac-12 / Big 12 matchup.
ESPN at 9 PM, immediately following the sudden fun that seriously is the Champs Sports Bowl.

Baylor is going to score on accident here.

December 30th, 2011 at 12:38 AM ^
But that totally should have been a late hit penalty.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:40 AM ^
Mercy non-call by the ref.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:46 AM ^
For who?
December 30th, 2011 at 10:49 AM ^
For the D!!!!
December 30th, 2011 at 12:40 AM ^
I think the only way Washington wins this game now is if someone on Baylor pulls an Anthony Thomas against Northwestern.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:41 AM ^
Thanks. I've been actively trying to avoid recalling the NW game for the past 3 hours or so. It's earily similar, really. But entirely too painful.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:39 AM ^
That ties an FBS record (all games, not just bowls).
December 30th, 2011 at 12:40 AM ^
How the hell does a BCS conference school give up 441 yards rushing?
In regulation?
With three minutes left?
In a bowl game?
And only be down four points?
This is not real football.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:42 AM ^
Put this defensive nightmare out of its misery
December 30th, 2011 at 12:42 AM ^
it's Xbox 360/ Playstation
December 30th, 2011 at 12:41 AM ^
Does anyone else think that if operating under drinking rules, we'd be getting our stomachs pumped?
December 30th, 2011 at 12:42 AM ^
Suxors.
Now enjoy the RGIII love fest.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:42 AM ^
Now there's a chance they'll lose on an onside kick.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:42 AM ^
Of Michigan's basketball game tonight.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:42 AM ^
He is a good looking running back
December 30th, 2011 at 12:43 AM ^
Baylor really did just score completely by accident. I'm dumbfounded
December 30th, 2011 at 12:43 AM ^
is this and1 football?
December 30th, 2011 at 12:44 AM ^
Gave up 56 points so far and might cover the spread.
Washington.....I think you might suck.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:44 AM ^
Yes, yes, sadly, I have, Chris.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:44 AM ^
Well that was just stupid
December 30th, 2011 at 12:44 AM ^
I hate to agree with Spielman but I have movefd from being entertained to disgusted.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:44 AM ^
That dude is going to catch some serious shit tonight.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:45 AM ^
and this will be higher scoring than our basketball game against Penn State a few hours ago.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:45 AM ^
Fat man with football
December 30th, 2011 at 12:46 AM ^
That jerk just cost us witenssing a record # of points. Boo that man that fumbled.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:47 AM ^
Big Man! ha ha....wtf was that? nice ball protection. so much for his hero moment.
December 30th, 2011 at 1:09 AM ^
lol. u know they never get to touch the ball. he was like eff this. I'm running it. lol
December 30th, 2011 at 12:48 AM ^
This victory should move Baylor up in the polls. The computers will be impressed.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:49 AM ^
And that is truely sad.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:52 AM ^
...but they won and they covered.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:49 AM ^
Well that was exciting. But if they finish in the Top 10 at then end of the year, then something is seriously flawed with the system.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:50 AM ^
There is no way in hell that team is top ten.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:51 AM ^
Nope. But man, the computers love the Big 12, and now that they are 3-0 (I think) in the bowls so far, it's only going to help them.
December 30th, 2011 at 1:01 AM ^
Came against the PAC-10, who's 0-3.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:54 AM ^
With a win, we'd leapfrog them. I mean, hope, at least.
December 30th, 2011 at 9:25 PM ^
No doubt. They had absolutely no defense.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:50 AM ^
You watch crappy bowl games and have open threads about them.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:51 AM ^
Why the F ask him when he's going to decide, twice?

Reporters suck.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:53 AM ^
With a question, they'll be truthful. #Scrubsreference
December 30th, 2011 at 12:51 AM ^
College football... you gotta love it.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:51 AM ^
Time to do something else besides witness the demolition of the proud game of Football.
December 30th, 2011 at 1:00 AM ^
This game was the exact opposite of LSU v Bama, yet just about as bad.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:52 AM ^
You have to wondering what U-W's quarterback is thinking, other than 'WHAT MORE DO YOU FKN WANT ME TO DO?!?!'
December 30th, 2011 at 12:52 AM ^
I like listening to RG3's interviews. Smart guy. Classy. What I hate is how every time he's interviewed, ESPN thinks they're gonna be real clever and get him to announce his NFL decision.
December 30th, 2011 at 12:58 AM ^
I really thought this would be the RG3 show, but 427 yards on the ground and 7 rushing touchdowns from Bears other than the Heisman winner tell a different story.
December 30th, 2011 at 2:22 AM ^
Was not expecting 1400 yes of offense but it sure was great to watch! Much rather see that than 9-6 games where the punter highlights the game.
December 30th, 2011 at 9:22 PM ^
Man that game was insane. Early on I thought UW was going yo get blown out. Then I thought BU was going to get blown out. In the 2nd half it went blow for blow. RG3 played well but Price looked pretty darn good too.
